The Royals have been comically bad for the past several seasons. IMHO, they are still extremely undervalued at this point in the season. Although this team has a lot of the same players, baseball is a game of excruciatingly slow progress. It takes time to develop and when it does, you see what the Royals are doing. They almost came back and won that game 6-5. That’s why if they go down and have only scored 0-1 runs, take them plus runs because they have no quit.
It reminds me back in 2012-2013 I went to a Royals/Cards game at the K and there were more Cardinal fans in attendance. They were garbage. In 2014 they made the WS on one of the wildest runs and completed the Championship run, the following year, after gaining valuable experience in the playoffs from the previous season.
When that was going on, the Royals were beating and upstart Houston Astros team in the playoffs. We all know how they did.
That’s why I think it is going to be the Phillies defeating the Yankees this year for the title. The whole Stefan Diggs watching the celebrations in order to motivate yourself is real, for some athletes.
How about a return to my youth…. Royals vs Phillies. George Brett vs Mike Schmidt

I havnt been on here in a long time Wolfeman3. I do well on college fb, college basketball, college baseball and NFL. I love mlb but have never been able to find an edge on my own.
