Didn't State's head coach used to be Carroll's assistant? Pretty sure he knew all of Carroll's formations and plays already.
May be thats a fair explanation! which ever way you look at it and break down that defense, it comes down to one thing, Oregon state knew before hand what USC was doing!
I have seen many great defenses before, what Oregon state did to usc was a freakin miracle! You dont even see that kind of defense in the NFL (well i take that back, the Patriots have had such defense before but they had the little camcorder deal going)

Oregon state knew everything USC was doing. And i mean everything!
this isnt the first game i have lost, this wont be the last game i will lose! but i will stand firm. Those bums cheated and have the USC play book!
Maybe USC has simply become predictable. Maybe Sarkisian isn't much a genius at all.
Ohio State and Virginia are not familiar with US, but Oregon State plays them every year. If USC became too predictable, it wouldn't be hard for a yearly opponent to know what is coming.

if you can break down game tape and defenses. It is obvious that this was more than divisional familiarity! If you have watched college football as long as i have you know that it is impossible for a team to play that kind of defense.
No one here can say this was app state vs michigan 2007. No one can say it was stanford vs USC 2007. I saw both. It is impossible for a team to play that kind of defense unless they have the opposing teams play book! Not even in the nfl!

lame. Tell me they stole the signals, tell me they had a lip reader on the sideline, tell me they had a tap on the headset, but don't give me this crap about having their playbook. What do you think a playbook has like 5 plays in it and exact times in the game they will run each?
