Here we go again. I get on Full Tilt Poker and am up 3 times my buy in, just dominating donks and a few decent players along the way. Dude comes in to my left and is on serious tilt but I don't catch cards for awhile. Finally, I land A,K suited and junk like 3 5 7 comes up on the flop, so I bet at it, he checks. A comes up on 4th street, I think I'm good bet, he checks...hits his straight to beat my A, K. Ok, so it happens and that's cool. Next hand I get A,A and I raise it, same guy checks me down as I bet all the way....he turns over another straight. Ok, that sucks but I suppose it happens. VERY NEXT HAND: I get A,K and I think I'm a lucky mother-effer. Holy crap, this is it. I bet coming out dude keeps checking at me. I continue to bet as nothing on the Flop is a threat and I actually hit a King on the Flop, so I'm sitting great. Dude still keeps checking me down. Possible straight on the River for him but I figure no way and bet at it again, he checks. The freaking dude hits runner, runner to hit HIS THIRD STRAIGHT IN THREE FUCKING HANDS!!! Not just that, but he cracked A,K - A,A - A,K three times in a row. Did I mention this dude and I were the 2 biggest stacks at the table?
Keep in mind guys, I noticed this trend a few weeks ago and have not played because I was in the hospital for awhile. I decide to hop on last night and it's the EXACT same thing that happens that I stated in my old posts. The very same situation that I said I noticed has happened to me at FTP a handful of times before. I get up big, I even switch tables this time, and a guy swipes in and the SAME DUDE (2nd biggest stack at the table) just serves me unbelievable beats to take my bank roll about back to where I started. So why do I keep getting on FTP you ask? Well I start reading about how Durrr and Isildur1 and some other pros are playing hands for millions of dollars and pots that get up to $700k and I think "If that is going down, I can feel safe to play there." But if you've read my few other posts that I've posted in the Poker forum on here, you will know that I noticed this exact situation / trend on FTP awhile ago....and once again it happens to me. Whether you think online poker is rigged, not rigged at all or maybe a little bit rigged or fish, you can't deny that either A.) I have the worst luck in the whole freakin' WORLD! -or- B.) This shit is a little suspiscious. --- I know for sure that I'm switching to PokerStars now. UPDATE: Guy doesn't say a word in the chat while this goes on but finally replies to one of my comments. I tell him I'm off to PokerStars for sure after tonight, as I tell him of my situation. He tells me he was at PS and it was worse there, so he came to FTP and then he disappears from my table. ---- My pocket J,J just got busted with a River A on an all and the guy checked me down all the way with Ace high. Absolutely. Fucking. Sick. / Suspicious.

Another thing: I just check my Flops Seen % and it's 31%, so it's not crazy. The table was tight for a long time, so I looked at a lot of flops for awhile. I know I'm no pro or anything, but maybe I'm just doing some shit wrong...?? I play position, wait for good hole cards (unless table it tight, then I get looser), calculate percentages with my outs, watch tendencies, not afraid to fold a good hand if I'm pretty sure I'm beat etc. It's just hard for me to understand why or how the same thing happens to me on FTP. I get up a good amount and a dude swipes in, usually 2nd biggest stack or 3rd biggest (as I usually have them covered) and delivers me just unbelievable beats in big pots, and then disappears. So I'm going to keep playing on FTP....probably lower stakes, and I'm going to keep track of this very situation and see if it keeps repeating itself. Like I said, I posted about this a few weeks ago, as it this situaiton had already happened to me a handful of times, so it's not like this is the first time I have posted about this exact situation going on, as it again happened to me tonight. So now it has turned into an experiment for me.

I sit down and am up 3x what I originally started with once again. I'm not really catching anything but just played VERY strict tonight. I sit and I'm at 2.5x to 3x what I started with for a very long time, as I cannot catch any cards to save my life, and this goes on for about 4 hours. I had some hands where I disconnect but connect back in time for my play to be made. Anyway, I finally land Pocket Kings and I check, a person bets, I raise it, they bet back and I call it. Flop is 2, 4, 8,.... 9 on the turn....so I bet big....person bets back at me (I know I have them dominated because they have pulled this with A,3 earlier with junk cards and crap). Anyway, they bet more than half their stack and as I'm going to shove as I'm pot committed and it's a large ass pot...and ultimately double up because I know this person had either T,T or maybe K,Q....I get disconnected!! No problem, as it has connected me back in time every other time before this and I hit the 'time' button.....this time IT FREAKING TIMES ME OUT!! My stack gets shoved to this freaking dude that was dominated. I get connected RIGHT after my stack gets shoved to him and I'm pissed!! I ask the guy in the chat what he had, just hoping he said he somehow had super nuts......he does not reply. Says he's from the US and the rest of the night he does not reply to a chat question. Ok, I do go through phases when I get disconnected and reconnected on FTP for some unknown reason. I guess the site is shit. But it has always let me back in to make a play in smaller pots with smaller hands. Do you want to know the THREE TIMES it has timed me out and shipped my big stack to the other person in a showdown?? Guess what I was holding....and I swear to this on my mom and my life and everything else: The ONLY THREE TIMES I have been totally disconnected and timed out in pots is when I had K,K (twice) and A,K (with an A on the Flop) and I was up big on the night and in big pots.....and more than half of my stack gets shipped. I am 100% dead serious, swear on this.
So I had been chatting with a dude in the chat for quite awhile at the same table this happened and and then him, me and the guy that got my K,K pot from when I timed out get into a big pot. I get out because I know I'm beaten. Well, the dude I had been chatting with for awhile throws a lot of his stack in and he's a tight player, so I know he has something. They keep betting at each other and the Flop comes up.......the kid I had been chatting with gets disconnected and ends up getting timed out for the first time in the night and he was holding 2 Pair!!! About 1/3 of his stack gets shipped to the VERY SAME DUDE that my stack got shipped to.......and then the guy leaves the table.....never says ONE word in the chat all night long to us, even though we try to get him to answer us or just say something. When it happened to me, I was the biggest stack on the table. When it happened to the kid I had been chatting with, he was the biggest stack at the table.
It's just so fucking fishy, guys. I would have been up 6x what I had bought in with! I finally sent FTP an email and asked them to look up my hand histories and look at what I was holding the only three times I have been fully timed out and how much of my stack was in the pot. I'm sure I won't hear back from them, but it's just fucking sick. ---- So this is the NEW trend that I have noticed on FTP. And before you ask, I have a secured wireless connection set up in my apartment and never has any issues with getting booted from websites or applications. It just makes me sick when I am playing a 19% flops seen percentage...don't catch cards and after 4 hours I get my pocket Kings....play them to perfection while getting a person to bite and committ, and then get timed out. Fucking. Sick.

OK, I just read the first paragraph of your post and already, I have some things to say:
1) He didn't "check you down." He called you. 2) If he was calling your bet after the blinds, flop, turn, and river then you let him suck out on you. Especially with pocket rockets, if you'd gone all in pre-flop then you wouldn't be in here whining. You'd be counting your chips.
I'm not saying people on FT don't cheat, but it's far more likely that you played your hands badly and he was simply calling to see if he might hit something - which he did.

WendysRox, you are correct. I typed that so fast as was so pissed off when I typed it, but yeah, he called me down.
I totally disagree with your going all in pre-flop statement though. Have you seen these tables? You have to slow play on the lower limit tables. I wanted action so I just did a min. raise. I could have shoved on this guy on the flop but I knew I had him beat. I refired after the flop with a big raise and he called me again. I had this guy covered 2 times over, and he called me again after my big raise on the flop. I was getting ready to shove after the turn because I didn't want to get sucked out AGAIN on the river, but that is when I got disconnected. ---- I was soooo pissed that I probably was went overboard with my post in here. I have seen people get the 'disconnected' and 'reconnected' messages in the chat box, and it happens over and over, many times. It has happened to me before, a few times. I constantly get disconnected and then reconnected. In the past I have had to sign off and sign back in and I was fine. This time it didn't work. I got a response from Full Tilt and of course they blame it on my connection. They then tell me to do like 100 steps and then get a screen shot of my connectivity status and email it to them to see what could be causing the problem. I'd do that, but it takes a computer science major to understand what they are asking you to do! (and I have my degree in computer science, but even this crap is difficult. It all has to be done in DOS) So screw that! lol.
Going to get back on tonight on FTP during some football and see how it goes. If / when I get up tonight, I'm going to switch tables for sure. I have had some people tell me they have experienced these same type of streaks and they either just leave for good for the night or they will switch up tables.
P.S. LOTS of interesting stuff on this topic on Youtube and message boards.

Ball-Picker, I have probably played online for about 10 years now, and I can honestly say that I have broken even or won a little bit overall. And PokerStars is where I played the majority of that time. But I can also state unequivocally that I think the software is very corrupted. I won't go into boring details, but it is very similar to your initial hands and their outcomes.
I have also read from very reliable, open-minded sources that Full Tilt's software is a joke too. I have had the best results at Ultimate Bet, but in no way would I encourage you to play at a particular site since I am no shill.
Years ago, I would stay up all night playing online poker, and could not wait to do the same when I woke up. I am finally at peace with my decision to rarely play poker any more as I have almost completely burned out on the game. I would much rather do a puzzle or watch ball games on TV on my couch. And I am not bitter, just accepting the fact that the game is a basic waste of time.

Just so sick, as the bullshit continues. I buy in at a table for $20 and get up $40 (yeah, not high stakes). With in a span of 30 minutes or less, I get rivered by guys that had 3 outs (6% chance of winning to my 94%) and drop back down to even. I get up a little bit again and I have like Q,8 and flop comes 8,10,10....dude checks, I check...Turn =another 10...so I bet big because of the way the guy is playing and I have a full house and know he has no 10 and he checks me. River = another 10 (so we have 8,10,10,10,10) and I bet pretty big and the guy checks me and is holding an Ace. Boom...money gone. WTF odds of that happening?! I have him at 99% to 1% or less on the Turn and the 4th 10 comes?! All of this within about 20 or so minutes to take my money away. Dudes are hitting Q on the river to hit a straight on me when I'm holding Aces and all kinds of shit. It's so unreal. I even switched tables tonight once the 2nd fucking 6%/3 outer took a big part of my profit. Would I be better playing at higher stakes where assholes won't keep calling my bets and hit a Q on the river or a 10 with their 3 outs and take my profit? I am just stumped right now.
So naturally I steam and end up down for the night. I went card dead for about 2 hours with a few losses with A,Q to A,K and shit scattered in. Then I join another table and can't hit cards at all......4 people leave the table and 2 guys come in and right away hit 3 of a kind to take the rest of my money. I can't even be pissed because I know FTP is just a big fucking joke now.

Ball_Picker, you complain about the site probably being rigged, then wonder if you should play higher stakes? Now you sound like a fool. My advice to you would be to quit playing online poker for any serious money, expect the bad beats, and get over it. If you cannot handle this reality, quit playing online poker altogether.

I also run into that. I am not sure how it is possible. How can you be that stupid. And its not like i am playing for 5 dollars.?Even then if u think that is a good idea to call those kinda hands how do u have any money in your bank. Only stands to reason those kind of people fit the description of, buying swamp land in florida, as a retirement investment.or being distracted by shiney objects.. Just strikes me as odd that their are so many of them out there

Let me say I am not one of those rigged guys..BUT this is why some people think its rigged....some ppl say "even if its for 29cents...how can you make that call UNLESS you know the runner runner suit is coming".. personally I think Its insane to assume they can see the 5card board and everyone else sees a 3card board but then again its insane to make that call. Prob. just really clueless players.

Yet you keep playing.........

Okay so let me get this straight...
First hand you have a pair of Aces with a King kicker (not a strong hand in a cash game with straight draws on the board).
Second hand you have a pair of Aces with an unknown kicker (again not a strong hand in a cash game with straight draws on the board).
Third hand you have a pair of Kings with an Ace kicker (again not a strong hand in a cash game with straight draws on the board).
These are decently strong hands if you are in the late stages of a tournament, but in a cash game these are very weak hands! I really think you need to stop looking for excuses and maybe learn the game a little better (it is suggested by most pros to try and keep the pot small with anything less than three of a kind.)
Pre-flop A-K suited against say 5-7 suited is only a 60% to 40% favorite.
Pre-flop A-A against say 5-7 suited is an 80% to 20% favorite. Say the flop comes 6 8 K... your aces reduce to a 65% to 35% favorite.
Most good cash game players (pros) understand the concept that typically with A-A when you lose you will lose huge pots and when you win you will win very small pots.
