We are going to have a weekly ( COVERS/WAGERLINE ) poker game on THURSDAY nights. It will start at 8:00pm every THURS.
This is free tourney with a prize pool of $100...Pokerfan.com is hosting the tourney and every (active) COVERS/WAGERLINE member is welcome to play. Just sign up at POKERFAN.COM and get ready to play.....
Let's make this a fun and exciting time for all members. Like I said this will be a weekly THURS tournament for all COVERS/WAGERLINE members...
How can you beat that--a free tourney with the chance of a $100 prize pool ...
Also you will be able to chat with all your fellow members while trying to bust their ass in poker...
The site is a very easy to navigate through and the sign up process takes less than 2 minutes...Plus there are some good promotions offered to COVERS members via the banners on COVERS...
Once you get signed up you will go to the lobby and click on the tournament link..From there you will go to private games and you will see the COVERS FORUM FREEROLL.
If you guys have any questions about this please contact me thru this thread or find my email address in my covers space...
Oh also please try and sign up at pokerfan.com using your covers/wagerline username if it is available (if not its ok)..This way we will know who we are talking to.

As a gambler who has a hard time justifying a 10K entry fee into the WSOP I suggest using this weekly game as a tourney to send someone from COVERS to represent us in the WSOP.
How can we do this? We can get 15 or 30 players (or more) to either invest 1, 000 or 500 and sponser a COVERS poker player in the WSOP. 15 or 30 (or more) ??? With an entrance fee of 10K , travel expenses, room etc I estimate between 13-15K. Now, all winnings would be split equally amongst investors.
We could set up a duration, say Nov to next June (or whenever)and the player with the most points would go. Points would be determined by a weekly placement, meaning 5 points for the player who comes in first, 4 for second, 3 for third etc. At the end of the timeline whoever has the most points represents US, Covers.
The winner would also be an investor. I would definately take a chance on this and it would be easy to run.
Anyone else like this idea.

Just a thought

Hopefully if we can get people to catch on to the tourney---then maybe there could be something done later on..I think for the time being -- this would be a real stretch ..
The challenge on this idea -- would be to find the right people to make this happen
It's a great idea for sure but this is only the 4th week that this has ran...I'm trying to get a stable base of players..
I would suggest you send your ideas to COVERS TEAM...Layout a real gameplan and then present it..It never hurts and at least you are trying to do something positive...
