almost too unlikely to consider he probably had qq or aa, maybe he had jj and caught a lucky set even.

Craigville, the straddler is an acquaintace of mine. He told me that he had a K.
Clown, I was playing with him for 6 hours. I don't think he push all in with Top set on the flop. I think he would've bet half on the flop and the rest on the turn with top set.

Well, I just wanted to imply that decision making has a lot to do with the players you are up against. Pokers hands are relative, not absolute. The only absolute hand is the royal flush. Is a straight a good hand? Well, it depends what it's up against. It's great against a pair, but it's terrible against a flush. It's all relative. and to determine the relativity, you have to consider the kinds of players you're up against.
Hutch is right. I lose only $50. If I'm right(making the fold) in assuming that he has AA, I'd would lose only $50. But if I'm wrong(making the call), I could lose another $860. And I right more time than not. And if I don't go by my instinct, what should I go by at the poker table?

Just keep bragging about laying down KK pre and calling $2200 all-ins with 1 pair. Thats a great strategy.
My thing is this, 95% of the time OR MORE your KK is gonna be the best hand. My prblem is when you start overanalyzing and laying down KK preflop its gonna end up costing you in the long run. The real problem is you never even got to see his hand so youre sitting here jocking yourself for making a great laydown WHEN YOU DONT EVEN KNOW IT WAS. Bottom line for me is this, in a 2/5 NL Im never gonna lay down KK against the caliber of competition you are usually facing at these tables. Rarely ill be up against AA and when it does shrug your shoulders and say, "oh well"
My whole point is youre bragging about making a laydown you dont even know was right and then you put in this spot about calling 2200 with 1 pair like we're gonna read that and say "oh yeah, good laydown, you must know what youre doing if you called a 2200 allin with 1 pair, and was right!!!!" You talk about how each hand is independent of each other than use some hand from long ago to somwhow justify this very-questionale laydown with KK. Basically, I disagree. not to start a fight, I just disagree qith your fold.
With all that said, GL TO YOU BUD!!!!

i dont know what this fool that said he has aj is thinking, hes obviously clueless about poker and should have been banned but he blew one of mods i think to get back on here. anyways, based on how this hand played out i cant see him all of the sudden reraising if he hadnt even RAISED once all night. he has either qq or aa no bones about it and probably aa. i do agree with chance that you made some kinda hero call at one point in your life has nothing to do with this hand at all.
