Bellagio. The five diamond classic going on. Playing 5-10. I have pocket Jacks and we have a crazy aggressive stradle man at the table. He has stradled and raised 9 hands in a row. I make his 20 dollar stradle 220. It gets back to him and he makes it 1200. I call. I have about 8000 on the table. Heads up. Flop comes AJ4 . He checks and I bet 1900. He is a bad agressive player, I'm hoping he has AK AQ. He calls. Turn is a Queen. He checks. I think theres no way this guy has KT. If he has AA i'm just going to pay him. I bet 3000. He thinks forever and calls. River is a Ten and he goes all in for his last 800. To much in the pot I call and say show me the AK buddy. He turns over KQ.

on the turn he still knows he is way behind with a queen and more then likely still only has 4 outs or POSSIBLY 6 is a queen may make him good. He can not think 2 pairs here K and Q would be good.

Why does the guy have to explain himself? He was gambling, and he got lucky. He was less than 10% to hit his straight, and then unbeknownst to him he also had to dodge a full house. In the long run you will make far more from donks like this if they always played like this, than if they folded everytime. The only thing you can do is to have a big enough bankroll where beats like this don't affect you any, and you can regroup easily.

getting sick of poker especially online poker got dealt pocket kings 3 times in a row lost again 1 other hand each time all in . Went from high chip leader to outta the tourny .

I agree 100% NJ....of course those are good players to have at a table, but that does not make you feel any better when you are the guy he gets his suck out on. I would never say a word like that to someone after a horrific beat. Nor would I criticize the other player, it is his money, spend it at a strip club, poker table, or buy MGM stock, blow it however he likes that is not my business. However I do feel for the guy who got caught.
And of course like you said pocket jacks are one thing...set of jacks in that spot is a whole different puppy.

My only regret is staying at the table after I was up 5k no matter how good the table was. I am a strong advocate of the "hit and run" A professional playing 5-10 40 hours a week and trying to grind out a living has to win around 28,000 a year just to break even($12 rake per hour plus tipping) I'm a greedy MF. I deserve to called on the flop with a gutshot and 4 outed with one to come for a $15,000 pot.

I thought the buy in was 500 to 1000 for the 5/10 game. Not that I ever played in it
you can play 5-10 NL down here in Florida with the state law of $100 buy in. Thats probably fun
It of course depends where you play. Almost everywhere in vegas there's no cap on the 5-10. At the wynn they dont cap any game, you could buy in for 1,000,000 at the 1/2 if you want to I also heard there's a loop hole in that florida law that allows people to get more money on the table but I cant remember it right now. It was something like ten guys buy in and lose to each other til they all had 1,000 in front of them. Not exactly sure.

I have not been there in a few months so maybe it changed. I know some hotels in vegas never have a max buy in.

bellagio actually caps there 5-10 game at 1500 buy in but in my experience nobody pays attention to this after you've been sitting at the table for an hour. all of a sudden the stack of cash behind someones chips get bigger without them winning a hand. It's almost an unspoken agreement between regulars not to say anything. they are used to being able to put whatever they want on table like venetian or wynn. And if someone actually calls them out on it(which is about once a year) they play dumb and go "oh you have a cap, I didn't know, I usually play at venetian" Its still amazing to me how many mistakes the dealers make and how bad some of the floormen's rulings are. This is Vegas!

Did you ever consider going all-in post-flop or after the turn. Every time I let someone suck out like that, I question whether I let them stay in the hand.
I'll share my own similar story, since it happened just last night... I was the aggressive one, trying to pretend I was drunk and tilted. I have about $120 in front of me and villian has about $85 in a 1/2 NL.
One from the button, I raise like $8 pre-flop with AhJh. Button (a known donk) calls. Everyone else folds because I've been playing so crazy and hitting that they don't want my action.
Flop comes A25 rainbow. First to act, I bet the same $8 and get called.
Turn comes A and I figure two things can happen - 1) I have gotten all the cash I'm gonna get or 2) he calls thinking I am bluffing - so I bet like $50. He calls.
River comes blank like a 9 or something and there wasn't more than two suited cards on the board, so I go all-in and immediately get called. He turns over a 34 off-suit.
