Tell me something.   When was the last time one of these famous Pro Poker players has won the World Series of Poker?  

Most of them get knocked out on the first day.    Ivey, Hellmuth, all of them.

If you don't think that it would be incredibly hard for Stu Ungar to win 3 World Series of Poker's in today's world ,  then you are the one that is CLUELESS bro.   

The game is mostly luck.     And to get thru 8000 players without taking a bad beat you have to be incredibly lucky.     A coke head like Stu Ungar would have never been able to make it.

Remember in the movie "Rounders" how Johnny Chan was made out to be this incredible "Poker God"?

When is the last time you have seen Johnny Chan win anything?   All I ever see him doing is coaching other players.   He gets knocked out of the World Series very early year after year after year.

These stories with Poker are incredibly overblown 99% of the time.

You go ahead and believe what you want about Stu Ungar.   I don't want to break your heart anymore.      I won't even mention Santa Claus.  I swear.

Your actually agreeing with me that Ungar would not win three World Series the way it is today.

And how exactly would you know that?       You've never met me.    

In this post you say the pros can't win the World Series because it takes "too much luck now"

And then you call me a casual player because I said "the game is mostly luck"

I'll agree with you that I am a casual player.     But I still say it takes more luck than skill to win at poker.

I watched this years final table and it sure seemed like Jerry Yang was getting very lucky.

He basically called or raised everytime he he had alot of money in the pot and then somebody raised or called him back.

I never saw him lay down anything.   He just kissed the picture of his kids and started praying to God everytime he got called.    And many times he was behind when he got called and still won.
