For sure he gave Phil 20 tells at least, and raising back pre-flop Phil had to put him on a pocket pair, but not Aces after flop, then the guy fires out on Q,so Phil figured him for 3Qs with the 4s,imo

I think the lesson is early on in a tournament, especially a ws where the blinds move slowly, you do not do anything to risk your tournament life when you have an inclination your beat or you are confused. Phil was not confused here he was pretty confident, but you take no chances early. If he wins that hand he doesnt win the tournament but if he loses it he may lose the tournament. You should not be afraid to lay hands down early on. Most players try and accumulate a lot of chips early by pushing the action. Its probably a good strategy for most players because the only shot they have is to catch a heater and accumulate enough chips to carry them. With enough people playing that way some of them are going to be successful and have huge stacks. What a guy like PhilH wants to do is just survive long enough to be able to weed out most of the wild play and then try and outplay these guys, with hopefully enough bullets to do so.

AA, QQ Hellmuth is beaten. KK he is not betting 10k into 8k pot. AK maybe but that's a strong bet and he's giving off so many tells. You have to remember this is a $10,000 deep stacked event (200BB start 2 hour levels). You can get away from one pair, two pair in the early levels.
