Wanna make a side bet? The tendency of the American voter to go with the better liar is deeply entrenched. I find it mind boggling that we may even have a worse selection in 2020 than we had in 2016, but things really have sunk that low. If there are any truly inspiring hopefuls out there I wish they would step forward.

I disagree with that. I'm pretty sure the majority of people who did vote for Trump will do so again. The Democrats just need someone who's somewhat likable and competent to be competitive. Despite what everyone says about 2016, I'm telling you that Hillary's cold persona and inability to be authentic struck people the wrong way. If the Democrats had someone more likable, they would have won. I'll make that assertion. I saw Beto is the recent flavor of the month so I suppose I'll consider him to be a contender. I'm tough to please so I really need to see the people running and listen to them in the first debate. You need to impress me by sounding like someone I can relate to and convince me you're intelligent enough to handle the job. I actually anticipate myself favoring a candidate who doesn't win and being forced to settle for something less appetizing.

To me it shows they are not confident in Trump. If any decent democrat runs and I mean any decent one, they will destroy Trump in 2020. If you have a bad democrat like 2016 run, then Trump will win. I would be curious to see the odds for Obama winning reelection in 2012 were around this time.

Biden team looking to convince Beto to accept undercard, VP position. The left would suddenly embrace old white privledge if this were to happen. Will also turn blind eye to Bidens bizzare sexual peccadilloes. Two years straight of railing against the very type of people they are looking to nominate. Biden is current fav to get nomination.

Its a 11 days until New Years and the Democrats have already lined up the First Democratic Presidential Debates. They will take place the First week of June 2019 and they will not have an Adult Table/Childrens Table but may be a 2- day affair due to the field that may number more then 2 dozen.

Seattle is pretty neat. I'd say better than most of America so.... And if he is the governor of Washington state, wouldn't his slogan be "Make America Like Washington"? There's more to the state than what the whatever ideas people have about what Seattle is like.

Biden is expected to announce in a few weeks as academics strategists and the Democratic Party fund raisers quietly pull together possible exploring the possibility of becoming a Primary candidate is now news worthy. Inside I remember Biden and Warren stepping aside for Clinton in 2016. Possibly the annoited team to be on a Oprah ticket.
