The only amazing thing here is that anyone that is not in a coma would approve of him.Congress&#x27; approval rating will go up now that a number of the record filibustering Neo-Cons have been axed or going to jail so the Senate can finally push thru some legislation. It will be close tho, but hopefully the GOPer&#x27;s who have some merit like Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe will join forces against the do-nothing Neo-Cons from the billy states.

[/Quote]Wars tend to rally their citizens around their leaders. &#xA0;FDR and Woodrow Wilson probably had equally high approval ratings. &#xA0;Lincoln, probably not as much during his civil war. &#xA0;Washington probably not at the time due to the split in loyalties among the inhabitants of the English Colonies.It&#x27;s the attack from outside forces that unite nations.I imagine France and Britain had high approval ratings for their leaders during WW1 and 2.
