Slick was and is a stud.

However, if we are discussing conventions than please explain how the RNC was any more successful.

I agree. I watched almost every minute of both conventions. I admittedly am democratic but have to say that both were silly. I guess in reality they are always designed to be silly. They are designed to essentially be a pep rally to mention the big topics (with minimal substance and lots of finger pointing) all in effort to rally their "team" in effort to encourage them to vote. I hope Romney wins the election. I don't think anybody should be re-elected as President. When the 2016 selection comes get Romney out of office. If Presidents get re-elected then they will just feel comfortable and think they have more power. Ger in and get out as soon as possbile will be the best thing for America.

I watched it all too.  Was good stuff.

Don't remember a single thing Romney said but one thing I noticed was Obama's reaction to the timing of the recovery.

When he set out his campaign platform 4 years ago, he was a "Candidate" not the Prez and certainly was not privy to the depth of the problems out there.  It's just overly naive to hold anybody to a strict timeframe when they were not even fully in the loop yet.
