The Associated Press posted a correction of stories it published in April and three different times again in June..

The AP reported that all 17 U.S. intelligence agencies have agreed that Russia tried to influence the 2016 election to benefit Donald Trump...

That information was wrong and misleading ...more fake news!

The news organization based their assessment on information collected by just three agencies (the FBI, CIA and National Security Agency)and published by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, which represents all U.S. intelligence agencies.

Not all 17 intelligence agencies were involved in reaching the assessment.

The New York Times also issued a correction Thursday on a article that incorrectly claimed all 17 U.S. intelligence agencies agreed that “Russia orchestrated the attacks, and did it to help get President Trump elected"   ....the truth is that the assessment was not approved by all 17 agencies.

Now,, all we need is a correction from Psycho Joe Scarborough who said that Donald Trump should not be tweeting about national intelligence reports on Russia's attempt to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

President Trump should never stop tweeting ,,because the American people can not trust the fake Fourth Estate,,,

Trump needs to revoke their press passes and ignore them.  People that are not leftist loons know they are fake news, so why even give them any more attention?

Government investigations are still justified even if just CIA, FBI or National security agency confirmed Russian interference in US election.  US cybersecurity companies and european allies also confirmed Russian meddling.  Together, their conclusions are still significant. 

Besides, many US intelligence agencies aren't really needed for confirmation.  For examples, coast guard, energy, treasury, drug trafficking, geospatial, satellites, air force, army, naval and marine corps.

So, answer me this Thirdperson..if all agencies aren't really needed for confirmation..Why did the Associated Press and the NYTimes print fake news ,,that all 17 agencies agreed that Russia tried to influence the 2016 election to benefit Donald Trump?

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes asked FBI Director Comey: “Do you have any evidence that the FBI that any votes were changed in the states I mentioned to Adm. Rogers?” “No,” Comey responded.” “We found no indication of any change in vote tallies.” Comey Said.

Bottom line: Russia did nothing. It’s all BS.

Ive had a few discussions with left leaning individuals, when pressed to provide evidence of trump/russian collusion they point to the fact that seventeen intelligence agencies have said so.The investigation itself becomes the evidence. Most left wingers on this site continually repeat this mantra. Some even hold on to the rediculous notion that once the investigation is completed, the election results will be thrown out and HRC will be POTUS (think that doozy came from wallstreetcappers)

Fox News and others reported the US FISA court legally issued a warrant for surveillance of trump's team members last summer. Sorry but that action only happens as a result of evidence of criminal behavior.

Mueller's original scope was russian meddling in our election. When additional evidence came up beyond this scope (i.e. Racketeering), FBI agents no doubt reported their findings. Typically a new scope gets opened and such investigations drag on. That's the nature of such undertakings whether it be watergate or the IRS investigating a random individual for tax evasion.
Although collusion was the entry pathway to the investigation it may not be the charge that will be most problematic to trump.

Slim- I have no idea if evidence of collusion (Lay term/not legal) exists. All I know is what has been reported as well as a bit more knowledge about federal investigations and the openings of additional scopes. That looks like precisely what is happening.
Too many moving parts but imagine we had a side bet held in escrow whether page, manafort, Flynn and/or trump will be indicted. I would run to make that bet. Would u be as confident ?
