 lots of posters that have gone into those threads have ended up boxed or worse.  To criticize in those threads is against website policy, but then the sheriff of covers politics has carte blanche on threads that don't fit the "narrative" in his mind.  It's a complete double standard and when they are called out on it, the response is basically "go to another platform then if you don't like it"
