9. If someone asked me, “What do think is the most powerful weapon?” My answer wouldn’t be nukes, it would be, information. And The USA and NATO are getting all we could ask for without having feet on the ground.

You know I will, brother, but only in spirit. Won't wager on it. I tend to avoid the Pac. Do you back U-Dub? Me and the Mrs were just talking about before we moved when we would just come to Portland and Seattle on getaways. There's a venue we used to like in the U district. Neptune theatre.

We had our first "Go back to California" type moment smoking a joint by the Neptune theatre. I had completely forgot about it until she mentioned it a couple days ago. It was strange. Real passive aggressive. Made us feel like bougie gentrifiers. This is before we had even an inkling of moving to the PNW. And according to her, we never mentioned we were from California. It wasn't so much, "Go back to California!" It was more, "I can tell you're not from Washington. I hate tourist." He didn't come out and say it though. He was just kinda like, "Must be nice to have money to smoke weed and go to shows. It makes it harder on the locals. I can't go to shows." It's to the point now where Oregonians flat out hate Californians. I wonder if it has become that way in Washington? Such a wonderful state. I had planned on spending some time this summer backpacking in the Enchantments but couldn't find the time.
