You're right 14daroad. I guess today's republicans are more vocal and enthusiastic about killing and hurting people publicly. Today's R's are like Muslim terrorists who dance and shoot their weapons in the air after sentencing or a death and dems are just quiet about it but are still for killing though.

yes, search any post i've written about obama since he's taken office and you'll find what you are looking for unless it's about immigration which is one issue i think he's right on.

but you're right, i'm much more critical of republicans.  but i don't really care that much about democrats.  i want to be a republican.  i want to be a part of a fiscal conservative, small government party.  i know that isn't going to be the democrats so i typically write them off.  i am more critical of republicans because at some point in time, they were, at least to some degree, a party i could live with.  now, they've gone completely off the deep end and 180 degrees the other way and are more fiscally liberal and bigger government than anyone. 

and then there is the religious crazy part which i'll often comment on and i see much more of that, maybe all of it, on the right than the left. 

plus, see every post i've made about local politics, usually atlanta, and you will see very critical comments and those are all about democrats. 

plus, see any comment i've made about gun control since the connecticut shooting and you will see that i side with the republicans and think the democrats position is dumb, ineffective and opportunistic.

George Carlin was right on the money...  We don't have any choices.  We have the illusion that we have choices.  The owners of this country control everything from what you eat to how you wipe your azz.  It's a big country club and guess what?

I agree and disagree with you about Paul Ryan. No hope as you say with mainstream Americans, but that's because of the sad fact most Americans are either misinformed or uninformed. I thought Paul Ryan would have made a great VP or even better Prez than Romney.
