@Crusher13 So lets explore your contention a bit. IF Trump is convicted, are you suggesting that there will not be incidents because of it? Is that what you are saying? Did you watch his venting aggressive rambling tirade just an hour ago? Did he not precisely set the stage for a revolt if he is convicted? I couldnt believe the garbage coming from his mouth and yet everyone lets him ramble on like a dictator as long as he wants.
Clearly trump is setting the stage YET AGAIN!

You still didnt directly answer, you like the blame and attack approach instead of just answering a question. I didnt say Trump is guilty or do you think Trump is guilty. I only asked if you think IF he is found guilty will there be incidents that come IF he is found guilty?
Are you not understanding the same question asked like 5x now or what is the reason why you cant answer? I am not going to attack you with your answer, I am just interested if you think there would be reactions and incidences IF he IS found guilty?
Your reply to Sidehatch prompted my question, he thinks that there will be incidences and I asked what YOU thought since you said he lived in a bubble, so do YOU think there will be any incidences in the case he is found guilty?

Try reading POST #25..I made it VERY VERY clear what the WORST thing that will happen..
You know what we call BOULDER here..the Bouder Bubble..25 Square miles Surrounded by Reality..
Sorry if you and MOST other posters in here LIVE iin one..listening and learning from others with opposite Views is a important Requirement which is sincerely Lacking now in here.
Do you want me to Rehighlight my response???
I'm confident that many others in here could READ my response....And get it..hopefully you DO now...not all conservative peeps in this country are gun toting, Bible hugging Neanderthals who keep their wives barefoot and pregnant home with the children..

Post 25 was not an answer you made a reference to Biden, that is not the question that if Trump is guilty will Biden call him a felon?
But thanks for the explanation, I am not sure why you could not just say yes or no? Its fine you think IF he is found guilty there will not be any incidents and I hope IF he is guilty that there are not any. Given past track records for the Trump extremist segments I am not sure how there would not be, but I am hopeful that no incidences and no retribution efforts from the fringe crowd. No citizen should be harmed from a verdict regarding Trump, guilty or not there is no reason for another person to be harmed and I hope that is what happens.
Why the personal petty stuff and the attacks as to respond? I didnt insult you or attack you, I just stepped in when you took a swipe AGAIN at another member and asked for your opinion.
Please stop with the offensive negative replies to members, there is no reason why you need to attack me or another member EVEN IF they hold an opinion on a topic that you think is bonkers...just stop with the digs and insults and attacks. Ive boxed you for this in the past and I will again if you continue.

No need for personal attacks, I know you go back and forth with a ton of members but unless you are in the box going at it you cant make digs like this...even if the guy provokes you and does the same to others AND if you disagree with him 100%, you cant make the insults and digs like this.

If found guilty, I believe there will be incidents. Probably not in NYC but across the country because the deplorables can't control themselves.
@Midnight1
*IF* unexpectedly the jury votes him guilty on *ALL* 34 counts - then yes, for sure, just like you say.
I think though that it could be a closer call about violent MAGA-cult incidences anywhere *IF* he is only convicted on some charges but not the large majority of them. In that case, they may feel mostly vindicated (albeit wrongly) and likely to back off from acting out violently given the rash of PRISON SENTENCES handed out to other pro-fascism MAGA-cult morons from the Jan 6 assault on democracy.

I apologize for that. My thread has once again turned into a $hit show so I'm just frustrated at this point. If what you just told me holds water then all of them that are in my threads should be in the box. Davemsh was told to stay out of my threads along time ago and once again here he is. I don't go to other people's threads and talk crap outside of political banter. Last number of days back and forth. To say someone sucks is fine but the other stuff like hundreds of posts is pathetic. I could not respond of course but then why even post anything
Success is never final, failure is never fatal, and it's the courage that counts.

Please report it when someone is bashing you because no member should bash or harass another especially if it is unprovoked. So that means have clean hands and let CT or mods deal with other members breaking the rules. It might help if you were not having game of thrones in the box so much..

@Sidehatch Stay in your Bubble Bra' ...I know kinda hard to live in reality....but hey, each to his own
There will be death threats if Trump is convicted. His former attorney Ty Cobb believes a conviction is inevitable. There’s no reason to believe that MAGA death threats (aka domestic terrorism) will suddenly stop. They will keep coming. And I hope the feds will prosecute those threats accordingly.

And if Trump gets found guilty I see some push back...it's Rodney King and OJ Simpson all over again....people will be outraged but to what extent...will be interesting to see if cities get lit on fire or peaceful protests turn ugly...
and just because one is wearing a shirt that looks like they are supporting someone or something doesn't mean it is true...didn't we all learn from the BLM activity that took place....in some cases if you saw someone wearing this garb you could think they were setting up the narrative to be opposite...you can't put it past people cause you never know now-a-days what is really what or who is really who...
jus sayin
COVERS allows u to tell someone they are sexually frustrated so long as ur hands are clean

Oh, I think if found not guilty there will be push back as well...valid question...I think regardless something goes down, but I think more so if he is found guilty...just a feeling....lots of unhappy people on the fence looking to do something....just look at what the schools are going through with the protesting now...people are geared up and ready to protest and cause violence in America...
that's why I for one believe that a revolution is coming....it's been predicted, but you can see the boiling points taking place over the last several years...the people will speak and they will be heard....when and how many is the question, but it's coming....gonna be sumptin when it does....

Sad but true...Peeps been arming up themselves of all ages and color. Surprisingly, women too. They definitely cherish their 2nd Amendment rights. Don't think there has ever been this much mistrust in government here before.
This current DJT trial only reinforces that mistrust. Government going against a former president....WTF?? An extremely dangerous slope.

So because Trump was president then he should not be prosecuted if he broke the law? Why is that?
Trump is no different, no better, no more deserving of equal treatment than you or I. To me there was very reasonable cause for this case and he is going through the legal process the same way you or I would. There are other cases which are going forward that he is also deserving of prosecution. If you skirt the fringes with your actions both personally and from a corporate perspective you take that risk of being prosecuted. This is not a witch hunt it is the legal process working and we should support it not minimize it because we like or dislike the politician.
Same goes for Hunter Biden, he should be prosecuted and face trial as should anyone breaking the law and especially those who have power and privilege like he does.

Are you asking because you do not know or because you want me to say what you already know and then call fake news fake prosecution poor Trump deep state Biden FBI CIA blah blah blah?
I am sure you know the charges even for you it can be found in 5 seconds.

Trump is accused by the Manhattan District Attorney’s office - NOT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT - of 34 state felony criminal charges of falsifying business records, pertaining to 11 invoices, 12 vouchers, and 11 checks.
Prosecutors allege the payments were not a retainer for legal services, as the defense claims, but were reimbursements for paying off adult film star Stormy Daniels in exchange for her silence and the life rights to her story in the lead-up to the 2016 presidential election.
Paying hush money is not a crime, but NOT what he is charged for.
What prosecutors alleged is: Trump intentionally falsified legal documents (crime!!!) to conceal his repayment to Cohen under the guise of a retainer for legal services to hide damaging information
from voters during the 2016 presidential election. (election interference!!)

Polls show most people think Trump should be indicted and convicted. Presidents aren't kings and don't have absolute immunity against crimes. Limited immunity is allowed only to perform official duties. In a democracy, important to hold leaders accountable. Otherwise, future leaders may be encouraged to break laws which could be more dangerous. No one should be above the law especially the worst president in US history.

Polls show most people believe the justice system has been weaponized to try to squelch Biden's competitor in the 2024 POTUS race. Biden has proven to be the worst POTUS in history.
