In a letter to members of the Harvard community, Gay said she was stepping down as president but will return to the Harvard faculty despite widespread plagiarism allegations against her.
Maybe more universities will take note.

Long overdue. She was appointed for DEI purposes. She shouldn’t have even been president in the first place, but the majority of the faculty supported her even after the congressional hearing, even after the first counts of plagiarism came to light. The fact that it took this much effort to oust someone like her is a disgrace.
