Gambleaholic, I appreciate the fact that you state your views and feel it is important that whatever one might believe they continue to try and understand other view points. It is fascinating how divergent views have become during this administration. Just curious as  to how you reconcile so many things. Here are a few questions if you don't mind

1. The president has stated on several occasions that the virus is a hoax and will disappear in April, or after the election. Do you believe it is a hoax?

2. The russians have been implicated in a variety of things including a hack, a bounty, and a poisoning. Do you view this a fake news since the president has not ever come out and condemned any of these actions?

3. Do you believe all the courts, many of them with republican appointed judges ad election officials are all complicit in this conspiracy to steal the election?

4. Do you find it concerning that fox news has had to retract some of its reporting do to law suits concerning election fraud and technology?

5. How do you reconcile the fact that AG Fred Flinstone has come out and said that he has found no evidence with the Biden issue, or the election fraud issue? This guy was clearly doing a little ass licking earlier.

1.Fake news.He didnt say April of what year.He probably meant April of 2021,ya that's the ticket.

2.Of course its fake news,didnt you ever hear of "the russian hoax",Vlad promised he would never do anything like that,and why wouldnt I believe him.

3.Yes they are complicit in the conspiracy,the "deep state" has infiltrated all those judges.

4.Fox news has been infiltrated also(except sucker carlson,and sean hannity).

5.AG Barr is a big fat loser.

He's taking a survey of all his republican friends,to see if any of their friends voted for Biden.That's his proof that the election is a fraud.Cause so far out of his 18 republican friends,only 2 of their friends say they voted for Biden,right there the numbers don't add up,so lets cancel the whole election.

Thanks for the response, Gamble. Sorry I am not able to format like you. Here are my thoughts after hearing yours.

No. I never believed the virus was a hoax. That said, instead of playing BuckFalls's game of guess the date, just give me the last time Trump said that. Remember, Nancy Pelosi paraded through ChinaTown mocking Trump and inviting people to party while Trump was closing air travel to China. 

I am not aware of the last time Trump made the comment that it was a hoax. In my view in just watching him he created a lack of faith in career experts in the matter, and their warnings that have since clearly come to fruition. To further complicate the matter mask wearing was politicized and he showed no attempt to lead by example. There is no news source needed to confirm or deny this. All that was needed was to watch what he said and how he acted. I can't get past the extent to which he mishandled this situation. The Woodward tapes are another example of something that I am absolutely fascinated that supporters can simply discount.

I am concerned as all Americans should be in regard to the recent hack. That said, WE don't work in USA cyber security. I think it goes without saying that this problem is being addressed by Trump and Radcliffe. Why do the people not demand free and fair elections, but then demand to have all of the details of the hack made public information?

I am having trouble understanding how career intelligence agents have continually made a case of Russian interference and yet he will not acknowledge and instead erodes trust in these institutions. Your response also did not address the other two examples that were provided. These are a small sample set of the multitude of transgressions that have been identified by our intelligence agencies. A person who has no dog in the fight would most certainly have alarm bells ringing as to why there is a lack of response.

I DO believe that hundreds of thousands of critical votes in swing states were stolen on behalf of Biden. I believe Supreme Court Justice Roberts influenced Jr. Justices, voiced a distain for Trump, and expressed a desire to avoid a civil war. As I said in other threads here, judges are human and are subject to bias. I believe there is bias in our highest state courts as well. No doubt. 

I find this belief to be frightening at the very least. If this is going to be the belief of a large portion of our society, even when no evidence has been provided, our country will soon cease to exist as it is. When people do not even believe their own parties assertations that election were clean we are in trouble. To this day no evidence has been provided. Saying something on a Qanon web site or during the Tucker Carlson show does not make it real. Without trust in our courts we will cease to exist. Dangerous indeed.

There is zero doubt that right wing groups generate fake news just like the left wing does. So no, I am not concerned about this. What I am concerned about is finding the TRUTH. 

Very much agree here. I try and watch all news services and listen to right wing radio frequently on the way home from work. Without a free press we are in trouble. At the same time with misinformation and the willingness too consume one' s own bias we are in trouble. I find it interesting that MSM has now become more liberal and fake in the minds of many as the far right media sources become further right. I admit that I absolutely find it fascinating what people will believe. I am sure you are not buying into the pedophile ring? Trump has been easy for me in that I do not need to watch any news source to come to my conclusion. I simply read his tweets and watch how he has lead in these times. One of the biggest tells in a leader is to bring the team together. Do you think he has?

I admit I am not sure what you mean here. Barr has clearly been a Trump supporter. I tend to believe he has seen the writing on the wall and if he wants to retain any credibility the truth might be the way to step out. Otherwise he ends looking like Rudy and Powell along with a myriad of other conspiracy creators.

You can't put it on Trump for not bringing the two sides together. Pelosi and crew are simply repugnant. When she ripped up the state of the union speech I was done with her forever. Since then, she has soiled her name a dozen times with her childish behavior.

Gamble, the conversation is appreciated. I am curious as to why you see the the Russian collusion allegations as "BS". It just seems as if the evidence continues to stack up month after month. You start with the impeachment trials that once again have people in Trumps own party testifying against him and then those that refuse to testify.  Cvil servants that have no dog in the fight and stand to lose if testifying against what many consider the most powerful position in the world, yet they do so and pay the price. You have the the aforementioned transgressions in question number two not being condemned. It seems as if the quid pro quo attempted by the president served two purposes. One two appease Putin which certainly seems to be a pattern. And two to dig up dirt on a political adversary on the basis of holding up bipartisan backed aid against a communist country. This in itself goes against the right wing narrative. I tend to see the point darkhorse makes in his assertation subsequent to your last post.

As far as the bringing of the country together. There are most certainly behaviors on both sides that one might find less than beneficial in bringing people together. However on the continuum it is obvious that Trump appeals to his base with rhetoric that would do exactly the opposite. I have no issue saying I appreciate previous republican presidents ability to communicate in an adult fashion even if there policies were not necessarily to my liking. Please just look at his tweets. Is this a man that you find fit for leadership? Why is it that so many find this to their liking? It seems that at the core there is fear. The finite piece of the pie belief will always have a win-lose outcome, and at worst a lose-lose outcome. I believe that in order for our species to survive we better figure out how to make it work for everyone. Snowflake stuff

I think the Russian election story in 2016 was BS because Trump did not collude. Trump is a lot of things that aren't great, and I'm not a fan of his tweets 98% of the time, but I am certain he did not collude to rig the 2016 election with Russia. Did Russia interfere? Perhaps they did. After witnessing the shit show that was the 2020 election, and learning that our own Director of Cyber-Security was aware that Dominion machines had modems installed, I will never trust another election in this country ever again. Krebs was horribly incompetent at doing his job. He failed miserably and is a disgrace to America and that's giving him the credit for just being an idiot and not a traitor. 

In regard to the impeachment on the Ukraine deal, Trump is a rookie at politics and I'm sure he was clueless that his suggestion could get him in trouble. After all, Biden announced his threat to the world and bragged about having the Ukraine top prosecutor fired. It's comical that the left twisted all of that around on Trump. Biden should be impeached if he gets in the White House, but that would leave us with Harris and nobody wants that.

Trump is not a politician and I like that about him. He is still learning on how to deal with situations because he doesn't have 47 years in the swamp like Biden. Unfortunately, the swamp will never be drained. The last 6 months have proved that.

In regards to your initial paragraph it could be that Trump did not collude but intelligence quite conclusively said that they did interfere in his favor. With that being said and Trumps response to subsequent Russian transgressions it would very likely lead a critically thinking individual to believe that that Putin has leverage on Trump. I have tried but fail to find an above board reason for his silence when condemnation would seem a legitimate response with concern to election interference, bounty, hacking, poisoning, and Crimea (likelyI am missing some). Why the silence?

As far as the election assertations on your part, I am sure you truly believe what you are saying to be true. I however do not understand how you come to the conclusion that the election was not above board. What we have as far as people actually in the know are judges appointed by Trump saying there is not evidence, and republican appointed election officials saying it was above board despite knowing they would likely receive threats from Trump backers. We also have a tremendous amount of money provided by supporters going into investigations that have yet to yield anything in the courts. We have Fox which in court cases has gotten amnesty based on being an entertainment channel back pedaling on the technology issue. William Barr, has also confirmed, a proverbial nail in the coffin. All signs point the other direction yet you are sure. Why?

As far as his lack of experience in political dealings, that is most surely evident. It does appear however by his past dealings he is versed in the game of not playing by the rules. I could list many but I feel that they have likely been rationalized by supporters. Once again, I believe that there is dirt on everyone. In this case the amount of dirt is further on the continuum then I have ever witnessed in my life. I admit that I would like to see the taxes. Does it bother you that he has likely paid less than you when the entire extent of your contribution will cover a couple of golf games for him. 

Lastly, your "he is not a politician" comment get to the crux of the matter in my view. HE is crass in his dealings with people. Some will find it refreshing in that he calls people names, and makes inflaming statements that help to allow for some peoples suppressed anger to come out in the open, and identify others who feel the same. He refuses to call out right wing supremist groups. HE says the pandemic, and climate change are hoaxes and that cities are being overrun by  the Mob. His rhetoric seems as if it has been a war cry for  an obviously large portion of our society who are seemingly, in many ways suppressed themselves. I believe you have seen the statistical demographic in which the majority of his base consists. I do not believe these to be bad people, nor do i find myself in any way superior. I do however, as stated earlier find it fascinating how Trumpers will follow regardless of evidence, and the possibility of the absolute undermining of our nation. Why can they not respect election results when others have forever. Republicans have lsot the popular vote on several occasions while democratic candidates still concede without the tantrum. Is this ok with you?

Attorney general Barr admits no need for special counsels to investigate Hunter Biden and election fraud.  No basis for federal seizure of voting machines.  No evidence of widespread fraud in 2020 election.  No criminal activity by Hunter Biden has ever been proven although there may be questions about potential conflicts of interest.  He is innocent until proven guilty.  However Trump deserves to be impeached by house of representatives because of overwhelming evidences.  He has the most associates indicted or convicted of any president in decades.  After leaving office, Trump and others face multiple lawsuits.

So we have our 4 year 2500 post thread in action I see. I seem to forget seeing this same thread for the exiting emperor and the toxic circle around him but hey the losing side needs to have a place to rally around and complain for this cycle.

Trump is worse than Biden but Biden is a slimeball lifer and I do think his kid is as guilty as Trumps with corruption, greed and selfishness.
