I saw a lot of Mexican flags being waved at the anti-Trump protest in Costa Mesa..along with professionally made signs saying " Make America Mexico Again"...
You would think that the criminal thugs would be smart enough to fake patrioitism and wave American flags..

You are wrong to draw the conclusion that Trump or any politician will stop the flow of jobs and wealth from the lower middle class to the upper class and out of the country.
To blanket blame Obama for corporations cheating the system is really lame, it makes you come off as lacking understanding of economics and power that corporations hold and always have held.
Corporations run this country and our political process/government and to think otherwise is foolish. Nothing will stop the flow of wealth until we flush the political system of lobbyists, campaign contributions, dark money..anything where private corporations and wealth can control political decisions.
The issue with this corporate theft and jobs leaving has to do with priorities of corporations..corps abuse the lower and middle class to enrich the shareholders and themselves period. Every last decision made by a corporation is to appease the market and attain bonuses and market share. We allow this to happen because corporations control our politicians and thus the process. How else can you think that citizens are ok with corps hiding hundreds of billions of dollars offshore to avoid taxes while a small fry will get 20 yrs in federal prison for income tax evasion?
Corps will keep offshoring jobs, offshoring production and cash until they are not allowed..it is how they maintain their stock price, their bonuses, their dividends and their market share.
Anything else about this and that and Obama or whatever means absolutely nothing....its all a waste of time.

Maybe it is a waste of time. Corporations are driven by people within a micro culture , which lies within the macro culture. I hope to change the larger culture. I don't know how to stop the squashing of the middle sector, and I know the government does not police them, and politicians aid and protect them. I am not naive about it. Always comes down to money. What you talk about are the .001 and those are some big fish to fry. I can only participate in this grand spectacle we call an election, and try make out the best clowns in the circus act. I should not take it too seriously after all. Obama has had 8 years, and the little fish are not happy. There are more riots and divisions than ever before. The HOPE was to bring in African Americans into joining the society at all levels, but more and more are disenfranchised, imprisoned, and easy to anger. Maybe not much a President can do. But the social reorganization has had to date minimal results. Hillary helped overthrow Egypt and Libya (Mubarek and Quadaffi) and withdrawal from Iraq, has led to CHAOS and instability. This is not leadership we need for America or the world.

Trump very similar to Bernie's positions on war, on Wall Street influence, on middle class pressures, on trade. Both are very opposite from Hillary on these issues. They differ after that of course. Hillary to me doesn't inspire a get out the vote passion like Obama did or the Bern. She is a 30 Wash DC establishment figure. She will need a big turnout because Trump is bringing in huge numbers numbers and is gaining momentum. She has not inspired the young. And blacks are like warm and might be less motivated to show up. She is incredibly vulnerable and has drawn less voters than her 2008 try. Trump has a narrower path because there are more democrats going to vote. He needs a 10-15% crossover. Hillary meanwhile needs Sanders voters, but 1 in4 say they would never vote for Hillary. That is stronger than Repubs rejection of Trump.

This discussion is pretty misguided as are many comments I keep seeing like "the Sanders voters will move to the Trump side" as if that just magically happens because they dont like Hilary.
All this talk about primaries and popular vote and people not liking Clinton blah blah blah just doesnt matter at all.
What will determine the election is the money behind the scenes, the power players will decide who wins.
Even though I dont like Clinton at all..really I do not even in the slightest, I dont see how Trump will beat her, MEANING I dont see how the power behind the scenes will allow a moron like Trump to win.
For how much I dislike Hilary, I dislike Trump even more. This whole situation is disgusting and brutal, the only candidate I think that is worthy to give a shot (Sanders) isnt big enough to beat the machine, so barring something crazy happening I think he has a remote chance at best.
What a sad state of affairs our country is in, we have two horrible, awful candidates...without a doubt this is the worst election in history. And to think I thought Obama vs Romney was bad, this one tops it ten fold.
And what is worse to me is how so many posters here are actually on board with the garbage Trump is spewing, it is like the brains of so many are just non-existent. How anyone can vote for Trump, I do not understand. It is a sad sad state of affairs, what a total mess.
I think there are two types that say sanders voters will jump to trump.
Those that know it's not true and are constantly manufacturing fiction and those that actually believe it and don't know it's fiction. But it's hard to tell who is a liar and who is ignorant and who is just an ignorant liar.

D are voting for Dems r are voting Republican however 30% of Americans who can do actually vote.
Now that is pushed to 40% of Americans are voting in the primary and for Trump. Íf that bracket was pushed to 70% and 67% went for Trump he wouldn't need a party to win the presidency. With the unbridled freedom of e ecutive action enjoyed by bush Clinton bush and Obama well Trump be the king of czars created. We made our bed and and now cry foul. Please.spare me we don't vote. We wait for the count to be told to us voters don't elect what those who count ballots do a few for him no one for her 1 2 skip a few and so forth. You are not even allowed to watch these counts. Nor a reconditioning

Some nice posts in here by you. I don't agree with some of what you said. But I enjoy well thought out and perspicacious posts---no matter the political bent.
