An extended tribute actually, for a very conservative republican - inspite of the constant mockery and partisan criticism from trump and his deplorable accomplices that CNN is supposedly "FAKE news" and "the enemy of the people" - CNN not only did the honorable thing and will continue with each new segment, but actually did so before FOX NEWS.
Unlike the current crop of bigots, racists, and BIG LIE enablers in republican congress, Hatch was known for being a gentleman and frequently reaching across the aisle to work with the opposition in crafting compromises where possible. He and Joe Biden go way back. President Biden will be releasing a statement honoring Senator Hatch.

What's odd is while CNN is honoring the late republican senator, and some non-GOP here have also mentioned his unfortunate passing, I haven't seen a single peep from the trump-cult here
