Unlikely that yuan or euro can replace US dollar as the world's reserve currency in the near future.  Bitcoin and gold are bigger threats.  More probable is that inflation or economic instability can weaken currencies.  By raising interest rates and increasing money supply, federal reserve can stabilize economy and prevent weakening of dollar.  So current biggest threat is House GOP reluctance to raise debt ceiling to prevent default.  As usual, Americans are their own worst enemy.

I get that Trump is partly responsible for this, but no where in your post do you talk about how Obama admin and of course Biden were weak on China and paved the way for Trump. As have other presidents been weak on China, but I would say none showed more than Obama and Biden and we know why. Trump at least was trying to hold China's "feet" to the fire and it got us Covid released. Now we have a weak president who I said back in 2019 would be the closest we have come to WWIII.  The dollar got devalued by covid....by the government shutting it down and printing money for everyone including the stock market...which is why the market went into that crazy over-extended bubble which it is still in...imo..

Also the dollar taking a beating by how much is  being handed to Ukraine....just means they will print more of it...and hence devalue it...imo
