One thing I've learned from this election is that Republicans are huge hypocrites and I can't really believe virtually anything they ever say.

It wouldn't be a story at all except for his hypocritical stance against Wall Street. Even his own party has a problem with this. Especially the Bernie Sanders progressives. Kinda hard to rail against Wall Street and then take their money. I personally don't have a problem with it but then again I'm not a progressive either.
Let's be honest though. No one has made more money off of being president than the Clinton's. It's not even close. They went from being broke to becoming a 1%er. That's kinda like hitting the Powerball lottery.
Let's also not forget that the rich got richer during his presidency either. Let's also not forget no one went to jail.
My guess is since he understands the plight of the poor he will donate that book money to the poor. Something tells me he felt like a conservative when he signed that book deal. Congrats Obama for shopping your book deal to the highest bidder. Welcome to the American way.
