Yeah, yeah, yeah, you don't like Hillary either. This is about a bet 5dimes has up and many other books have up to. I think it is a value bet, take it or leave it as that.
+200 Hillary Clinton wins more than 369.5 electoral votes.
My go to place for this decision is the blog 538 which analysis the election state by state. Right now Hillary is projected to win 339 electoral votes, but the farther Trump gets behind the wackier he gets. Today the Donald says Hillary was on drugs in the last debate and demands that they both get drug tested before the next debate. The number of women claiming The Groper did his thing on their lips or naughty parts is up to 9.
You can't beat the geniuses in Vegas setting the odds on football games, unless you are in the upper 5% of bettors and even then it is sketchy if you can keep on winning. Bet that Trump stays like "Trump with the shackles off" meaning the guy is nuts. Bet that the list of the fondled women who didn't ask for it keeps on growing.
The 538electoral map show that the next three states liable to vote for Hillary if the polls keep tipping her way are are Georgia, Missouri, and South Carolina. If that happens then this bet pays off at 2 to 1.
and get them greedy books.

I have a "straight up" bet with some random hick from down my street, this guy has money so I'm not worried about him paying but the dummy bet me with no odds, he thinks Trump wins rather easily
it is things like this that have me concerned for the well being of this country
Hilary will prob be just as bad as Obama has been but she has already won the election, not even sure why there are still odds available to bet, I already had a big bet on this from earlier in the year at like - 140
never a chance our country would elect Donald Trump to lead it, we already re-elected Obama, gulp

My over under on how many women come forward and proclaim "He....sob......he took liberties with me. He reached up my skirt and fondled the holy of holies." is 24. The number now is at 12 and rises daily.
Over under fondled Trump women is 24. I would bet the over if this bet was out there.
Personally I would love to see Alec Baldwin play Donald Trump in the movie Donald Trump, Prison Biatch. The movie starts out with The Donald convicted of fondling Miss Teen Georgia of 2008. The little strumpet was only 16 at the time so off he goes to the big house. He is constantly getting his hair disheveled by other inmates. He is goosed about 5 times an hour. He is constantly yelling "Stop it I will sue you."

my answer was simple, I don't bet with my heart, I think both candidates are below average but I don't mind winning money on it
I have about 11k to win about 4k at various odds. Wanted more but couldn't get enough bitcoin bought before 5dimes changed the odds significantly.
I have a buddy who I also bet against and he also thinks I'm some Hillary fan. I don't like either of them, but I figured, hell, may as well win some easy coin on it. Anyway, hes so hard headed he doesn't get that its electoral math, and there is absolutely no viable path for Hilary to win, but he wont change his mind.
Jesus Christ himself could descend from the heavens and tell the US to vote for Trump, and Trump still wouldn't come close to winning.
Good luck on your wagers this week Wahoos.

Good for you. I would never vote for Trump but I bet big on him back in the primaries when there was big value in doing so. Homer bettors in sports betting lose their shirts, same thing happens in politics.
There are very few opportunities to bet on politics but if you follow it closely they can be very profitable.

You are right Sabanesqe, no way no how should a democrat win any of the southern red states, especially when their candidate is a weak one like Hillary with real sky high disapproval ratings. But Trump has really screwed the pooch by an ever lengthening list of terrible actions and decisions. Nobody talks about him not paying taxes anymore. Not with his locker room talk and another tinfoil hat conspiracy theory popping up daily. The Clinton campaign is spending money on Texas, Missouri and Georgia now. Why, because the Donald keeps screwing up and those states are now in play.
The Donald will do just fine losing. He has 20% of the nation eating out of his hand and he can add billions more to his wealth by expanding the Trump brand into the Trump Network.

and they are in the minority. their side will lose.
i'm talking about betting. again. this is a wagering site.
your pragmatic side knows this. it's why you don't make a wager even at +500. you hope, you fear. but you correctly keep your wallet safely in your pants. i salute you for not letting your emotions get in the way of the obvious rational conclusion.

IDK, there are many wikileaks that point to media collusion with the democrats (nothing illegal but a bit dishonest);
a lot of donors from the middle east to Hillary's "foundation"
and the Libya disaster is her "Bay of Pigs"
Trump's "scandals":
1) he followed the tax codes to get a tax break in the 1990s
2)He called someone "fat"
3)In the 1980s and early 1990s he may have "groped"
REALLY?
Sounds like the media has had a strong effect influencing many minds and opinions.
Not mine. I've met Hillary in person as an educator, (she was a Senator) and she had an excellent memory and awareness--she would have been an excellent lawyer had she stayed in that profession. She would be more detailed than Jimmy Carter (Carter was a trained engineer).
I saw Trump at a motivational conference in Nevada. Not the best speaker, but simple ideas, and he is very PRAGMATIC. I think he is a good hiring and firing manager used to big decisions, and he would get the right personnel in place--and get rid of them if need be!
I'll leave the hate to others.
Interesting personal perspectives. It was refreshing to have some quality posters actually talk about the gambling aspect rather than typical non-gambler trolls who come here only to engage in games and antics trying to detract from the discussion.
I remember when I was the college many years ago (when she was the First Lady) Hillary came to our campus to speak and my girlfriend at the time was excited about hearing her and seeing her. She was speaking at the women's studies building. I made up some excuse and I told her I wasn't going to attend. She came back with a lot of positive things to say. She said something like if bill can be president so can Hilary. And I said, "she wouldn't get elected president". And she asked, "because she is a woman?". And I said "no, because she's annoying".
But I guess what I didn't factor in was that the GOP would have chosen Donald trump.
And if she is as you describe, it's hard to root for the annoying over achiever smart girl. It might explain some of why I can't root for her.
Sounds like trump is a capable and has strengths but lacks experience in working in an environment and in a manner that you are the government working toward the good of all Americans and not just personal profit and gain. Sounds like trump has what it takes to work at a high level as a CEO or owner of a business, which makes sense because that is where his experience is. If trump had experience as a governor or even mayor, I think it would go a long way. Not only could it no longer be said that he has no experience, but he could showcase his progress as actual concrete outcomes and results under his leadership

I would like to see a citation that can prove those two statements...
I'll wait............
..in the meantime feel free to going back to stealing yard signs ..
again, you mistake me. you have me marked down as some sort of partisan. When it comes to this election, I'm a gambler. Your politics, which you share so generously at this gambling site, don't interest me in the least. Nor do anyone else's. Trump is a clearly an amateurish clown and completely unfit to be president, but for the record I supported McCain back in the day. But I'm finding that betting on presidential politics (at least for the past three cycles) is the easiest money out there because so many people hope instead of think. The math is quite simple. She's way ahead and will win easily. Just like Obama did the previous two elections. Maybe the GOP will get its act together and nominate someone who isn't a billionaire hack next time and you'll have a chance. but hope has kept the odds lower than they should have been for many months.

I like this statement for a number of reasons. I have made far more lucrative bets on politics than I have betting on sports. I too can't stand Trump but that is immaterial from a betting standpoint. I bet on him between the Wisconsin and New York primaries in one of the best bets I have ever made and I have made thousands of bets on sports. The odds were near 50/50 just because Cruz had one the Wisconsin primary. I knew Trumps home state New York was next and Trump would go back to easily beating Cruz, which he did.
Unfortunately great betting opportunities in the election cycle are not very frequent but they are out there. The bet I suggested to begin this thread is a long shot bet that has value. The odds are now at +190 at 5dimes for Hillary to win more than 369.5 electoral votes. She needs to win a couple of red states to cover this number, specifically Georgia and Missouri. If the election were to be tomorrow I would lose my bet. But with each passing week since the crazy "grab them by the kitty" comment Hilary's lead has grown and the odds of her winning over 369.5 votes is growing more likely.
Trump is trying to get back in the race, he has nothing to lose by hammering Hillary with whatever conspiracies he thinks will be believed. Will he win or lose votes with this super aggressive strategy? I betting he keeps his base but loses the undecided voters by getting more and more unbelievably conspiratorial.
Opinions lose money when you bet, we call that homer betting. The reason political bets are profitable is because damn near everybody is a homer bettor. There isn't shrewd cappers in Las Vegas sitting the lines, they are set by the marketplace which is very emotional and biased.
