SCOTUS justices will hold lopsided 6-3 in favor of conservatives for at least another two years if Mitch McConnell remains the Senate majority leader. Upcoming Biden administration will be forlorn in terms of SCOTUS majority, or even worse McConnell will make Biden a one term president as his top priority as Mitch claimed it to the President Obama. Also, not clear how many federal judges could Biden fill under McConnell's majority leader role, big fat goose egg, perhaps.

I *EXPECT* Osoff and Warnock to put up good fights AGAIN but with the same result.

Therefore The Grim Reaper will hold the senate hostage AGAIN for another two years minimum.

Biden is limited from what he can do by executive order to help the American people, but I EXPECT Mitch will block *EVERYTHING* -- literally and figuratively.  trump will keep his following on twitter and in the two newest radical right cable networks and chirp from the peanut gallery.

Nothing significant will get done for the American people when there is a split and VERY DEVISIVE congress.

Now, republicans love this!  Anything that foils a Democrat proposal is fine by them, even if that proposal was backed by say 75% of Americans.   Helping the American people, protecting us from dangers (military, cyber, viral),  improving our ability to compete on the world stage means absolutely nothing to Republicans unless THEY are in charge.   Every Democrat proposal must be defeated.  

And they will persist in pushing everything they possibly can toward the supreme court.

Yes, America will lose.  But when they are no longer in charge the Republicans just don't care about that.  All they will care about is thwarting everything from the Democrats.   And people actually cheer this.

Don't underestimate Biden and his colleagues friendships.

Senate is a group of colleagues and Ted Cruz.

But he even embraced the Senate as home after trump DEFEATED him in election.

The Senate needs to be proportional just like the House, but that will NEVER happen.

Wyoming with 500,000 people get 2 senators.

In theory the votes there could be  like 100,000 vs 99,700 and each Republican gets in narrowly.

In California with 40 MILLION population they only get 2 senators.

The Dem senate candidates could actually each whup their GOP opponent by over 3 MILLION votes each, and the state still only gets 2 senators to speak for 40 MILLION people.

The definitive power lies in the Senate the way it currently is laid out.

It won't change in our lifetime.

Polls show clearly the American populace blame congress - both sides - for FAILURE to help Americans, but they cast MOST of that blame on REPUBLICANS and specifically Mitch McConnell who has the LOWEST approval rating of anyone in Congress.

Here is the thing, Mitch McConnell, the Grim Reaper, will become the most powerful Republican politician on Jan. 20, 2021. Biden will have his hands tied by McConnell who will laugh out loud for at least another two years or for eon, seemly GOP will control the Senate forever. 

And may be one day, the SCOTUS justices will fill as 9-0 seats in favor of the conservatives/GOP, thanks to GOP senate majority.

Yes, I do believe that many people voted because the oddsmakers set Trump's popular vote total at 69 million for an over/under and set Biden's at 79 million.  I understand you are likely an insane Republican who doesn't follow credible news sources but that's simply no excuse for ignorance.  The books already knew the increase in voting was coming and so unless you've got secret information that needs to be revealed to the public, your theory about people having their ballots cast without knowing is astoundingly stupid.  The behavior I'm seeing from Republicans now is exactly why I keep describing them as scumbags who cheat, lie and steal until they're dead.  Oh, they know Trump lost but desperate people will do anything possible before it's all over.  I'm not concerned because these slimy animals will crawl back to their apartments and homes once they realize nothing can be done to change the outcome.  It's hilarious to see these evil people trying everything to keep Trump's Machiavellian society in place.  Don't worry.  You can still cheat, lie and steal in your personal lives.

 Nothing will change until the Dems capture both the House and Senate. NOTHING. Even then I expect the Dems will be too stupid to get anything accomplished for fear of hurting the Republicans feelings.

Surely this is your attempt at humor. You can't be that naive, please. Across the aisle is a ship that has sailed. If Democrats present a bill of any kind, Republicans will vote against it even if it's something they favor. The did it a hundred times from 2010 -2016 because they were infuriated over a black family living in the White House.

I believe Joe can work with humans in the Senate 

He has worked with both aisles in the senate.

And will continue doing what he does building personal friendships with his collegues.
