An injunction is being sought to delay the electoral college vote. IF that does not occur, and Biden is voted and sworn in on January 20th, his administration will take office under the cloud of an investigation of his son that will eventually implicate the Big Guy (whomever that is).
That cloud, along with 27 patriotic states that have joined together with Texas, will have given Trump the support to campaign for the 2024 election. Trump will hold rally after rally, all over the USA, for the next 4 years. And yes, because I know the left will make a point of it, the great patriotic people of this country will donate to Trump's cause to keep the rallies going. Then, in 2024 (with the pandemic behind us with the corruption of absentee and mail in ballots), Trump will become the only president in the history of the USA to win THREE elections.

You certainly don't realize it (I presume because most Republicans are in bad shape) but Trump doesn't have long to live. He'll be dead from a heart attack or some other health-related matter that the White House covered up. He had an emergency visit to Walter Reed and I suspect it was for his heart. He's not going to be around by 2024 and so that's what I think is going to be hilarious. Republicans won't know what to do and they'll look for the next phony who's deplorable. @Deezy- Ultimately, the crux of this is that Republicans think the Supreme Court can steal the election for them and that the military will back Trump up. I think both are extremely unlikely. The SC will rule in favor of virtually everything Republican going forward but they won't risk a real civil war by fraudulently giving the presidency to Trump. Too dangerous and risky for them to do. I'm sure they discussed it in private with top Republicans but decided against it. I used to think the military was in the bag for Trump but I saw the polling for the military and I actually trust that kind of poll more than others. Nobody in the military is scared to admit they voted for Trump so when I saw that military members were split on Trump. it became clear that no kind of coup would be possible in the future. I'm still trying to figure out how to bring back one of the Republican customers who's very far right. He's watching Newsmax now, is a former military guy and likely thinks that the election was stolen from Trump. How the hell do I explain he's being lied to and it's all bullshit? Although I do think most Republicans are bad people with no character or decency, some of them are rubes who can't see through the lying from shysters/charlatans.
I obviously avoid politics for the most part with customers but it's hard to avoid if the television is on a certain station and the political affiliation is apparent. No doubt. It is clear that most Trump Republicans are not very intelligent beings. Surprisingly, the Supreme Court has maintained their duty to uphold the Constitution, transparency, decency, and legality. Trumpers seem to think just because the SC is heavily conservative with 3 Trump appointed justices on board that the court will willingly hear cases with no merits or basis for Constitutional law. Again, they are not very intelligent. You are patient and skillful in terms of being able to work, and mingle in your professional environment with Trump loving Republicans. I must admit I could not be so patient and calm. It is hard dealing with morons like that. You must be successful in your line of work.

How does one state at or a collection of them rule on another states laws.
The hurdle is that Texas has no legal right to claim that officials elsewhere didn't follow the rules set by their own legislatures. The United States doesn't have a national election for president. It has a series of state elections, and one state has no legal standing to challenge how another state conducts its elections any more than Texas could challenge how Georgia elects its senators, legal experts said.
It would be as if California could sue Texas for Texas decisions on drivers liscence standards.
Or.maine sue Florida for not enforcement of dui laws in Florida.... this is even worse argument than what the hot mess argued in front of the pawn shop....

The court filings also appear to have been prepared in haste. For example, the lawsuit says the four states that Texas wants to sue have a total of 72 electoral votes. The total is actually 62.
