President Trump has rescheduled the Fake News Awards to Wednesday ,January 17.    Due to unanticipated “interest”...

President Trump will be giving the most dishonest and corrupt news media awards..

Subjects will cover dishonesty & bad reporting in various categories from the Fake News Media...........The White House has not yet said what form the awards presentation, may take..

Ethics experts say the event could run afoul of White House rules and, depending on what exactly the president says during the proceedings,,, the First Amendment. If any White House staff members are involved it could be a violation..

Note:  The President is not subject to the executive branch ethical standards..

2017 was a year of unrelenting bias, unfair news coverage, and even downright fake news. Studies have shown that over 90% of the media’s coverage of President Trump is negative.

Below are the winners of the 2017 Fake News Awards.
1. The New York Times’ Paul Krugman claimed on the day of President Trump’s historic, landslide victory that the economy would never recover.
2. ABC News' Brian Ross CHOKES and sends markets in a downward spiral with false report.
3. CNN FALSELY reported that candidate Donald Trump and his son Donald J. Trump, Jr. had access to hacked documents from WikiLeaks.
4. TIME FALSELY reported that President Trump removed a bust of Martin Luther King, Jr. from the Oval Office...
5. Washington Post FALSELY reported the President’s massive sold-out rally in Pensacola, Florida was empty. Dishonest reporter showed picture of empty arena HOURS before crowd started pouring in.
6. CNN FALSELY edited a video to make it appear President Trump defiantly overfed fish during a visit with the Japanese prime minister. Japanese prime minister actually led the way with the feeding.

7. CNN FALSELY reported about Anthony Scaramucci’s meeting with a Russian, but retracted it due to a “significant breakdown in process.”

8. Newsweek FALSELY reported that Polish First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda did not shake President Trump’s hand.

9. CNN FALSELY reported that former FBI Director James Comey would dispute President Trump’s claim that he was told he is not under investigation.

10. The New York Times FALSELY claimed on the front page that the Trump administration had hidden a climate report.

11. And last, but not least: "RUSSIA COLLUSION!" Russian collusion is perhaps the greatest hoax perpetrated on the American people. THERE IS NO COLLUSION!

Yes ,,, Paul Krugman is a New York Times Op-Ed columnist, writes about macroeconomics and a so called distinguished Professor of Economics,, he teaches economics and international affairs at Princeton University.

He also is the recipient of the 2008 Nobel Prize in Economics..

Liberal economists like Paul Krugman had anticipated that a Trump election would be disastrous for the markets.Krugman said Tuesday night, “If the question is when markets will recover, a first-pass answer is never.”


Hey Paul ,the Dow rose 332 points, today to 26,115.  Up nearly 8,000 points since election day.  What do you tell your students now?

By attacking the press, Trump is waging war on first amendment which guarantees freedom of expression.  A free press is crucial in protecting american liberty and keeping abusive government in check.

Everyone makes mistakes.  Mainstream media operates in a competitive arena where errors are bound to be made.  Key test is whether errors are acknowledged and corrected which real news media have honorably done because they care about accuracy.

However Trump almost never admits errors although he often makes false statements.   According to factchecker politifact, Trump is the king of fake news.  He is emboldering dictators around the world by dismissing media right to scrutiny of government as fake news.

If, they care so much about accuracy ..why do they put the corrections on page 26 after a full week of repeating a particular lie non stop on the front page ?

What protects the American people from abusive,lying news from the press ? 

How is the media kept in check?

According to US constitution, abuse of government power is recognized as a bigger threat than freedom of the press.  Most americans still trust journalists more than politicians.  Washingtonpost recorded 2000 lies by Trump.

You  can not put a price on the 1st amendment. The Left wants to shut down the Truth. They are starting with Alex Jones and infowars. Who will be next? Drudge, Breitbart, Candace Jones, Kanye? The Left can not win in the free market of ideas.
