Hoping the ethics committee releases that report today. Gaetz sneaky effort to stop the release of the ethics report by resigning from Congress not going to work. Any word from Matty's "adopted son" Nestor from Cuba that lived alone with Matty in his Florida home from age 12-19 with no trace of adoption records or papers confirming Matty adopted him? I wonder what he thinks of all of this. Mind you Nestor's biological father still alive and well in Cuba.

Jim Jordan is the chair of the House Judiciary Committee, he probably has the final say in this matter. We shall see.
He has no real legal power. It is all about tradition. Time for Democrats on the committee to leak it. Only 1 Republican on Committee has to vote to release it. Jim Jordan means nothing. Dems should just leak it and deal with the consequences. Time for America to know the sick pedo that Gaetz truly is.

Unfortunately, what we'll see is a large segment of the country (many right here at covers) that will hope Trump and everybody in his administration fails. They would be happy to see Americans suffer, if it comes to that, so that Trump doesn't succeed. A lot of people feel that what's good for the democratic party and their agenda is of primary importance, even if it's at the expense of the country itself, and they have their hopes set on Trump's failure.

My initial reaction to the Gaetz pick was not favorable. After processing this for a little while I've completely changed my mind. I think he is the best person for the job. His values are diametrically opposed to Garland's. Additionally, he has a track record of fighting relentlessly for what he believes in, and he doesn't care what public opinion is. Having someone like him as AG will be instrumental in assisting Elon and Vivek with pursuing DOGE objectives.

Hopefully we are going to see the release from the House Ethics committee, but I'm not too sure about that. After all, Mike Johnson of the House Speaker plans to "strongly request" House Ethnics to withhold Gaetz report.
Also, we still need at least four GOP Senators to vote against Gaetz's confirmation which is up in the air.

Republicans attack policy, whether factual or embellished. Democrats attack character, and there favorite ploy is to label someone a racist, or a rapist. And the words are powerful. The labels are like scarlet letters. They follow you around but democrats are degrading their impact from over use. And it's backfiring. Trump's a racist? Ok. Watch all these black, latino, and asian people vote for him. He's a rapist? Ok. Watch him carry every female demographic except black women. People are tired of identity politics.
