Well deserved honors for all 19 recipients of presidential medal of freedom.  Contrary to false conspiracy theories, Soros and Clinton help provided exemplary service to the US too.  Soros is a famous philanthropist who donates billions to many charities.  Forbes call Soros the most generous giver in percentage of net worth.  Clinton is the first woman in US history to represent a major party in a presidential election.  She fought to improve women's rights and healthcare coverage for millions of families.

Jamie Lee Curtis, daughter of late Tony, who supports Kamala Harris' 2024 campaign, has donated one million dollars to the victims of Los Angeles wildfires.    

Think we might be able to follow Jamie Lee Curtis' generosity and help the victims of LA fires, with $5, $10, or... 

Damage is pegged at 52 -57 billion.

Would love to see all the billionaires who have been getting fat in our Country for awhile step up to the plate. Our top 10 richest in the country could cover that amount and they wouldnt even miss in their bank accounts. And just think of the giant write offs for them.  Some might step up, but i wont hold my breath.  All of us become to money focused and dont like to part with it now.

Well said, CD329. It's time to give back to the people whom have suffered enormously by this disaster. Nearly two thousand of structures have been destroyed and more than 130,000 people are under the evacuation order by these LA area fires.

It's good to see Chef José Andrés of World Central Kitchen who has just received Presidential Medal of Freedom award from Pres. Biden just few days ago at the White House. Chef Andrés and actor Jennifer Garner have gone to Pacific Palisades to support the victims of the Los Angeles wildfires. These victims desperately need assists from the federal, local government as well as well as from private supports.

Bob Uecker, the legendary voice of the Milwaukee Brewers
who was nicknamed “Mr. Baseball,” has died aged 90,
the team announced on Thursday.

The Brewers said he died Thursday morning at his home.

According to his family, Uecker had been battling lung cancer since 2023.

A jury in Florida has found CNN liable for defaming a US Navy veteran in a 2021 segment on Afghanistan that included him.

The jury awarded the veteran, Zachary Young, $5 million on Friday

So who came up with the dust to pay off Rudy's debt to the two women he defamed? Because he certainly didn't have the cabbage.
