I will agree with you in that Trump has made MANY empty threats that he never followed up on.

However, tens of millions of people who value a free press and news in general will be outraged if Trump DOES take CSPAN's license.  There would be blowback in the 2026 off-year elections.  I want the Democrats to make gains in 2026, but not for this terrible reason.

For context, somewhat made a comment about Jamie Foxx getting sick from covid shots. All to do a movie with Cam Diaz. I made a joke that I would get a covid shot to do a movie with Cameron Diaz, as well ad several other Camerons. Somewhat made a comment about Covid shots not working because people still got covid. A comparison to flu shots was made. You, very rudely, insulted them, called them stupid or some variation, and very incorrectly stated that flu shots aren't meant to prevent you from getting the flu. I at this point had contributed nothing but a comment, a joke, in appreciation of the beauty of Cameron Diaz. I hadn't taken a pro or a con, nor said anything to you directly. After seeing your very rude and insulting post, I simply said that I hate when someone is wrong and/or demonstrates their own lack of intelligence but they're calling someone else stupid. "Stupid" cuts deeper than people know. I then proceeded to correct you. I compared/contrasted the two different meanings of what it means to have a respiratory virus (i.e. covid, influenza). I say that's there's one meaning, having the virus present in our bodies. I say that most people, at any given time during the fall/winter season potentially has flu present in their system. The second definition is becoming symptomatic. Getting sick. I then say that a flu shotvis absolutely meant to prevent you from getting sick. The only time you should be getting flu symptoms are from the shot itself.  After that, the whole idea is your own immune system producing antibodies preventing a present virus from taking root in your sinus cavity and replicating. You attempted to say a flu shot is only to prevent you from going into the hospital, and then called sundance stupid. I pointed out how ridiculous that was, and just corrected you. I then said how I felt the efficacy of the vaccine was exaggerated and how herd immunity was bigger factor than it's credited. I never at any point was anti-vaccine. I have defended the vaccine multiple times because I am a proponent of mRNA therapy research. And the government was dragging it's feet on human trial of mRNA and crspr therapies for ethical reasons. Let that sink in. I have never been anti-vaccine but you assigned that to me, as your side does, then responded with the above post.

Since you are an expert on every topic, covid shot was not designed to stop people from getting covid.  It was designed to make symptoms not as severe, hopefully someday they make a vaccine that will prevent it all together.
