Won't be popular decision to those who have profitted from any war. There are over 6,000,000 jobs available.
The companies that have supplied, helmets, uniforms, weapons or whatever to our soldiers can stop with their donations to a particular congressman/woman for re-election........ Drain the Swamp!
Members of Congress are eligible for a pension after just five years in office, so that means senators qualify for one after a single six-year term. But most can't start drawing full payments until age 62.
North Carolina's Kay Hagan, for instance, lost her first bid for reelection. For senators and representatives with only six years in office, the annual pension is about 10% of annual pay -- in Hagan's case, that's $17,400 a year based on her annual salary of $174,000. She can start collecting her pension in May when she turns 62
What has your Rep. done for you?

My question is. What would we be 'surging' to? The country is a total waste of time, money and lives. This has to be a mineral rich country. Another head shaker.

Nevertheless, maybe it's BWS77that has it right..
Many great countries through history have went to the Land of Bones and died.there..that's why It's known as the "graveyard of empires," ..Both the soviet and British invaders have been forced to beat bloody retreats from Afghanistan..Afghanistan even exhausted the King of Asia, Alexander the Great..now it' working it's stuff on America,,Yankee go home..

It's about natural resources .. More American Soldiers will die to make politicians (both Republicans and Democrats) and their donors richer
According to the independent
US President Donald Trump is eyeing Afghanistan's mineral wealth to help pay for a 16-year war and reconstruction efforts that have already cost $117 billion. Investors who have studied the country, one of the world's most dangerous, say that is a pipe dream.
Ever since a United States Geological Survey study a decade ago identified deposits later estimated to have a potential value of as much as $1 trillion, both Afghan and foreign officials have trumpeted the reserves as a likely key to economic independence for Afghanistan.
As well as deposits of gold, silver and platinum, Afghanistan has significant quantities of iron ore, uranium, zinc, tanta

I need to know how the broadcast political operatives are trying to mislead the American public. That is all Midnight.
By "broadcast political operatives", do you mean Trump and his Twitter account?
The guy suggested to his predecessor that he should remove the troops from Afghanistan. Now he's doing the opposite.
What does it even matter how people on tv spin this? You have Trump's word from not all that long ago. And now you have his actions when he is in power. They aren't aligning. What more do you need? This isn't the first time this has happened with Trump. Most likely won't be the last time. And yet you follow him like he can do no wrong and believe whatever he says without question. Just a sheep.

Basically the only sheep are the one's that believe the broadcast politicsl operatives like the following. Matthews . Joe, Mika. Anderson. Lemon, George, Rachel, Sharpton, Cuomo, Allyson, Jake etc. They all represent the Deep State and will do anything to eliminate Trump. Russia went nowhere after an exhausting 2 years. The new one is the 25th amendment. All of the aformentioned are communicating how'crazy' Trump is. Proving the eternal point. Liberalism is and always will be a mental disorder.
