On December 21st Biden said his efforts brought gas prices down 12 cents and he expected them to drop more. So ask him, he thinks he controlled it then, control it now.

Please explain all those Donald Trump responsible for 100,000, 200,000, 300,000 covid deaths you posted all of 2020 and then crickets for the 600,000 under Biden.

Gas prices went up damn near $1 in a week where I am. Not too happy about this to say the least. What a mess. Going to have to cut back on bets at this rate... Or win more so I can afford to drive lol

I'm fortunate enough to have a few vehicles.  1 of them is a 10 yr old Accord that gets 30+ mpg.  I find myself driving that for everything but my business, for which I drive a Tundra that gets 15 mpg.  I am charging my clients a $25 fuel surcharge if I have to go more than 25 miles one way, and I have yet to have anyone complain about it.

 That surcharge must further endear you to your clients.

If they are your clients, you already know how far you would have to travel. Has anyone canceled a call due to the surcharge? Or any new customer not hire you because of the surcharge?

I know you have an additional cost but is $25 the cost of losing a client?

I'm in sort of a unique position and for the most part, I don't have to worry about retaining clients.  I'm a home inspector - they hire me to do an inspection, and about 85% of the time, I never hear from them again.  The other 15% are deals that fall through, so I end up inspecting another home for them, or clients that are moving every few years.  But regardless, no one has complained about the surcharge.

Woke up this morning, Gas was @ $5.75 in Vegas, $6.75 in LA

this is not socialist europe, this is the Capitalistic United States of America, where as prices are set by the petro companies, suppliers, and distributors...You wanna charge 6?7?8? dollars a gallon that's your option as a tax paying licensed operator. The WH (Biden) does not regulate 'retail' gas prices in America

Look at what is happening in the Ukraine, sukk it up for a while, pay the corporate fukks their money, and thank your lucky stars you are a member of NATO.

Personally, I'll pay a little bit more for my gas if i think theres a chance that beautiful little girl can sing "Let it go" outside of that bunker in the near future. But I can afford it and certainly I sympathize with those that cant. Hence, our dillema as I think most of us are somewhere in between this.

Ill say this, I've probably been playing craps longer than 75% of you fellas have probably been alive and in that time almost no one talks politics or controversial stuff at the table, but just this week someone brought up gas prices and every player and the crew working had something to say that was less than flattering toward Biden and it was quite surprising to me considering this was in Delaware where he's generally respected and I knew most of the players and the talk is almost always about sports. I did what I do and keep the talk to Carson Wentz and shit like that. Thats the way it should be on the tables.
