DeezyAZ81 is right. Counting removals, returns and expulsions, Returner-in-chief Biden era deportations surpass Trump first term totals.. Due to more new arrivals, easier and cheaper to remove border crossers than immigrants hidden in US interior. Since border crossings have dropped to lowest level since 2020, Trump ICE is on pace to deport half as many immigrants as in 2024.
