Gun violence is responsible for more death in the US than Islamic terrorism. So I guess you would be for banning guns first, correct?
The only gun control I would support is that every Federal Housing project in the country be searched and seize every illegal gun and charge them all to the fullest extent of the law. That would likely save thousands of lives...
No thanks on banning guns - see Venezuela if you need the reason why... The lefties just love Socialistic countries. The government is shooting at the citizenry because they can't shoot back, because guns have been banned...
When I asked to keep the country safe, my intention is to keep the people that believe in 7th century concepts in their country of origin. England imported a lot of problems, good luck trying to solve them now, the Muslim is out of the bottle... Too many more people are going to have to die before the citizenry rises up and holds the moronic politicians that are so in love with importing these throwbacks to account. Extreme measures are in order. Two recent polls of Muslims find that 50% & 66% of them won't inform on people they know that are involved with ISIS or terrorism. Ain't that just grand?

24 people have been killed by terrorists in the US in the last decade. 280,024 were killed by guns in the US.Who is the bigger threat to you? Put your bigotry aside and dwell on the facts.

darkhose, let's stick to the topic. You're a typical loon on the left that likes to get these discussions on tangent. Go start your own thread about gun control.
Can you dispute 'Killer's assertion that Trump has sound reasoning in putting forth a travel ban for dangerous Muslim nations ?

50 were killed in Orlando a year ago... My bigotry? Facts can not be bigoted... Have you seen the murder totals in the major cities since 2009? I'm a realist... I have a gun, and I'd hate to be put in a position to have to decide to use it, but its better than needing one with no option if it's my civil right Is that not common sense? Are you willing to sweep the entire country to grab every gun and make them illegal to manufacture or only in the governments hands or what? Now you may say no, but this is only where it starts and that's the end game. Slavery to Government could be the name of the Act. Example: Abortion. It didn't start here, but somehow it got to be done at 8.95 months and some baby parts are harvested and sold. If those 2 "normalities" in the lefts sick mind would've been called this then, I wonder if abortion would be legal at all. Considering the number of birth controls options available, would making this harder to have done be a benefit to mankind and terminating millions in that same decade of the 280K murders?

Full of red herrings today aren't we?
However you need to twist the facts and manipulate false comparisons to make a false point.
We had 50 in FL and 24 in San Bernardino alone.
Comparing murders from a percentage of 300 million to a population of less than 1% of that is not an honest comparison and may actually work against the point you were trying to make. Simple Minds

Darkhorse, you are an intelligent person, so I imagine you fully understand why your argument is flawed. As such, I will only add 2 words ... 'preventative measures'
For the record, I do not support a "ban" on muslims, but I do support some additional vetting measures. I'm pretty sure that the majority of those in France, an exceptionally liberal country, now have similar feelings.

apparently there was an anti-Sharia law protest yesterday in a place where there is neither sharia law nor the threat of sharia law, a place you and i know as america.
anyway, the trick here is to figure out which of these folks is sabanesque.
