Manchin was always a Republican Lite but now has shown his true colors. Anyone enmeshed in West Virginia politics, I expect Manchin after he wins re election to pull a Jim Justice at some point next year and declare himself for the GOP. He might be hoping Dems take back the Senate with 51, however unlikely that is, to stick the knife in even deeper. There was a WV politician with integrity, honor and would have worked for the people. But millions in dark money, false accusations and voter apathy drowned out Paula Jean Sweringin's message. Now we are stuck with that rowdy dinner guest nobody invited but no one can get rid of either.
