After 2 weeks, no trade deal has been announced. Trump appears to be negotiating with himself. Meanwhile China seems to be more successful in negotiating trade deals with other countries. In first term, Trump lost trade war against China. Several reasons why China should be winning again. First. allies don't support Trump trade war. Secondly, Trump is more vulnerable to political pressure. Third, US needs Chinese exports more than China needs US dollars. For examples, pharmaceuticals and rare Earth minerals.
Yeah, but it is believed by some within his Reich, that he might have a "concept" of a plan! Maybe.

@Midnight1 No tears here, Bud. Got my tax refund quickly and my social security check came on time again. And I didn't buy a Tesla so no worries of domestic terrorists torching my car.
Yup, got my SS check last week too. I want to change my direct deposit bank but I'm hesitant to change anything with IRS being decimated. If I screw up or they screw it up, chances of getting it settled quickly seem dubious at best.
Of course you didn't buy a Tesla. In Michigan you can't drive a foreign car. You would be thrown out of the neighborhood.
Keep your chin up

In fact Treasury Sec Scott Bessent and the Nodfather both announced that they expect their first trade deal to be with S. Korea. Univ. of Michigan’s Justin Wolfers explained on CBS why this is another Don Snoreleon PR scam: “We already have a free trade agreement with Korea! We’ve had one for nearly 20 years. Almost all trade with the US and Korea is tariff free. There’s nothing more you can do, so of course they are going to sign an agreement." But there's more...
South China Morning Post reported that Chinese importers have canceled 12,030 metric tons of American pork. Dexter Roberts with the Atlantic Council’s Global China Hubsays they are doing this specifically to hurt Trump voters: “This is a targeted response from China to hurt parts of the US that are red. People are very aware of this and very worried. One bad year and you might be mortgaging the farm.” There's still more...
The National Pork Producers Council: “China’s duties on US imports have raised the effective tariff rate on pork shipments to 172%. US pork producers remain at the tip of the spear with China tariffs. The new tariffs make it impossible for American pork producers to compete in that market.” Lastly...
China bought $125 million in US pork last year.
So how much taxpayer money will President Swine fork over to farmers & bail them out this time for his latest fuckup?

Actually I think Teslas' are pretty cool. Almost rented one to try it out. Did rent a Toyota Camry hybrid. 50 mpg cross country. Nice little car. My rural living and limited electrical amperage makes owning electric car not practical.
And that "thrown outta the neighborhood driving a foreign car" is really sooooo 1970's.
Last year I tried to change my social security tax withholdings. Sent in the form, two months later no change, called them up, (each call a long wait) oh yeah we got it, two months later no change, call them again, ohhhh wait a minute, not entered right, OK, now it's in.
