High profile figures being banned/suspended serves a couple purposes. It eliminates the person’s voice on the platform but it also signals a sort of soft censorship for everyone else. Covid deaths are under counted while vaccine deaths are over counted. Covid deaths are determined by doctors while anyone can report anything to VAERS even if vaccines didn't cause deaths. Investigations of deaths prove vaccines are very safe.
In addition to twitter, facebook has now suspended Greene for violations of community standards. Apparently, Greene is a enemy of America and can't handle the truth. Twitter and facebook are private companies entitled to enforce their own rules which Green agreed to follow when she first opened her accounts. However there is evidence covid deaths are under counted. Total deaths in the US can be estimated by using historical trends and compared to actual total deaths. Excess deaths higher than expected in 2020 and 2021 can only be explained by the pandemic.

That doesn't show covid deaths are under counted which is the main point. Increase in deaths from non-covid causes have been included in best educated estimates of expected total deaths. Under counting of covid deaths have been confirmed by Center for disease control, Doctor Fauci, John Hopkins university, Institute for health metric, National academy of science, World health organization and the Economist.
