So how wealthy should a candidate be to be worthy to run for POTUS?

I agree it is a yawn point. But when you consider everything else it is not. The guy is an egotistical liar. He lies about quite literally everything. Yet many "people" still support such an non-pesenditial liar. It is embarrassing.

Many news outlets have directly said that there is no need in even fact checking trump anymore because it is pointless and not a good use of time/ resources. That he lies so much that you can just assume he is doing so if he is talking.

But hey. He will make America great again -- right???

You are smarter than this..It is all about his exaggerative bragging and thus the truth vs lies he spews about everything...and that has an effect on what kind of person he is and thus what kind of leader he would be.I dont trust a word that comes out of his mouth, the way he speaks tells me he is an uneducated blow hard who really has nothing of depth to say but plenty of hot air about nothing.How can you stand behind such a moron like this? We are simply going to disagree on this.  No problem... you don&#x27;t trust Trump - I say HRC is the biggest fraud I have ever seen in politics.Yes I do like and trust Trump.  He says what needs to be said... yes sometimes I wince when some words come out of his mouth.  But overall I know he is not a fraud and he will do more to make USA so much better. I guess that depends on your view of what is better?  Become a euro like socialist part of the new world order?  Not for me... I like the dominate strength of world leader and best economic machine in the world.  Trump can do that.

I view Trump as an expert in using bankruptcy protection to his full advantage.  Other than that ... he brings nothing to the table in terms of real value.  As soon as the Dems unite after the June 7th primaries, you&#x27;ll see his poll numbers plummet to stupid levels again.  Don&#x27;t worry, your guy will not have a chance in the general elections.

If Donald Trump actually has a net worth of $10 billion like he claims, he should be able to realize a return of $1 billion a year if he is just an average real estate investor. He certainly wouldn't feel the need to conceal his tax returns.

I have not seen a shred of PROOF that Trump is a shrewd businessman worth $10 billion. But there is indisputable proof that his companies have filed four bankruptcies and that he has problems or just downright refuses to pay his bills.

There is a sucker born every minute and most of them seem to swallowing a certain someone's snake oil.

No, we criticize him for not being as wealthy as he CLAIMS.  He has no experience as a politician; his alleged business acumen is what supposedly qualifies him to preside over the world&#x27;s largest economy.I say his alleged business acumen is a myth, and the facts that he refuses to release his tax returns and claimed a deduction available only to those making less than $500,000 lend credence to the claim that he is a boastful fraud.

This is true..When I was a broker a few yrs back I had a client who was from NJ and owned some Trump bonds which were publically traded and anyone could buy them..They were yielding over 15% and were selling at 60 cents on the dollar..this was before AC started dumping, back when PA did not have their approval etc etc...and even then the Trump bonds were for sure considered junk and were selling at 60% of par.No question he has always lived on the edge of leverage and has lost that battle more than once. No way do I believe any of his claims of wealth...not a chance.
