@kcblitzkrieg I don't think Joe should run again either but for me it's more about this age rather than his performance. The country is ready for new bipartisan blood.
You will never have bipartisanship until the gop cleans house.

They are dying of thirst for it.....question is, will it happen this cycle or are we going to have to wait till 2028.

@kcblitzkrieg
Unfortunately, I think we will have to wait until 28. Hope I'm wrong but I just don't see anyone on the horizon that can command the respect necessary to lead the country.

New WSJ poll
Among those polled who DO NOT APPROVE of either Donald Trump or Joe Biden, whom would they most likely vote for if given no other serious choices?
14% .... for trump (republican)
54% ... for Biden (Democrat)
(note: the Wall Street Journal leans slightly right)

Favorable probability of winning should encourage Biden to run for re-election. If voters are choosing between lesser of two evils, Biden clearly has the advantage over Trump. A president is only as strong as the team behind him. Even if there are doubts about Biden age, his team is preferable. As for next election strategy, Biden campaign should be low key as in 2020 and just remind voters of his many accomplishments. Problem for self-defeating republicans is that they offer nothing to appeal to independent and democrat voters.

They offer absolutely NOTHING. That's their problem.
Now eventually, after their primary massacre, whomever emerges will promise everything - including ending both death and taxes!
Of course.
The MAGA-idiots will fall for it of course. But convincing independents/moderates is a whole different ball game. He won't be dealing with a rabid bunch of kool-aid drinkers then.
Democrats offer plenty already. More accomplishments in the first two years than any US president in his entire first term!
But most importantly they will offer a rational alternative to fascist-trumpism.

Polls show most people are skeptical of Trump's claim about being the victim of witch hunts or weaponization of government against him. In fact, more people believe Trump is guilty of weaponizing government than Biden.
