Is there any books right now offering a line of who is expected to be indicted tomorrow? For my money I would bet on Manafort. He seems like the shadiest one of the swamp monsters with the most evidence against then and most likely to flip.
Also what odds would you give of Trump firing Mueller at some point before the investigation is completed? During the summer I would have said the odds were low but now with the Hillary - Steele Dossier and Repubs coalescing around the idea Trump is being set up by Liberals/The Deep State I put this possibility at 50/50.

I'm surprised Mueller hasn't recused himself from the investigation. I thought Mueller was honest but obviously not. Total conflict of interest. President Trump should fire him but he has nothing on Trump., So what does it matter.
Mueller should be investigated, so should The Clintons, Obama, Comey...they colluded with Russia... not Trump.
Actually, when standing next to most politicians...Trump seems like an innocent choir boy.
Hopefully one day, The media will get over Hillary's stunning loss, so they can just report the news without all the bias.

I wonder why Trump isn't smart enough to outflank Mueller and simply offer up blanket pardons to everyone in his Administration or whom worked on his campaign. Without the threat of an indictment I doubt any of his cronies rat out the big boss.

Perhaps because there's nothing to "rat out"-
Their sketchy past doesn't necessarily include DJT-

Campaign chair indicted for being too close to Russia when the entirety of the campaign was based on Russia interfering with the election process.
You can't make this stuff up.
And the Trump sheep say, nothing to see here folks.
i'm not up to speed on this but if manafort is convicted of laundering $18 million, his sentencing guidelines will be in the 8 years in prison range. certainly could be more with aggravating factors and upward variances. this guy will be talking sooner rather than later.

I haven't really caught up on much of this news today, other than the fact that Manafort was indicted.
But don't the charges stem from a period of time years ago, some of which Manafort worked with the Podesta group?
Didn't Trump fire Manafort once he realized his ties to Russia?
I honestly have not read too much on this topic yet, but it is definitely bad for Trump?
i would read that as bad for some people, whether that means trump remains to be seen. this is how federal prosecutors work. they go after the people who have information and hold the hammer over their head to force them to cooperate. sounds like they already have this greek dude on board. and if manafort is convicted of laundering $18 million, he's going to be looking at a lot of time. in the federal system, there aren't many ways to reduce your sentencing guidelines. cooperating is the #1 way.
so, you have to ask, why is mueller going with an indictment that seems to be outside the realm of his special prosecution boundaries? if manafort was my client, i'd say it's pretty obvious. they want him to talk and they will have a lot of leverage to make him talk.
but i'm sure we'll find out more in the months to come.

Its bad for Trump simply based on appearance because the guy was so close with Russia and the allegations were that the campaign was ties in with Russia to find information on HRC.
Who knows what the reality is.
He will be on the highest end of money laundering which is a raw score of 35, even with no criminal history. His sentencing range is 151-180 months absent any other factors.

i got a base level of 10 plus 20 for the $18 million figure which puts him at level 30, or 97-121 months. then i just saw something else which would put him at a base level of 20 plus the 20 additional for the $18 million and his guidelines would start at 292-365. that seems off though. of course, there's no way to know what the guidelines really are. i'm sure there will be aggravating factors.
but what we do know is there's only one really good way to get those numbers down.

Let's assume that the Trump campaign did in fact speak with Russia regarding the possibility of them having dirt on HRC.
(it seems pretty obvious that they did to me)
Is that illegal?
that's out of my area. no one has yet hired the law office of CDS for such a federal case. but my door is open in case any trump wants a consultation. i'll be needing cash in advance for those deadbeats though.

The best thing that could happen to this country would be for Trump and HRC to go to jail ... hopefully by the end of the week.
I'm not a fan of Pence, but he can keep the seat warm until Kasich gets in it

1) Mueller is putting the screws to Manafort, threatening him with a gazillion years in prison.2) The goal is to crack Manafort, make him remember the dirt on Trump that Mueller can’t actually find.3) But Mueller has a problem: if by “dirt” we mean proof of Trump-Putin collusion, then there is no dirt.4) The mere fact that Manafort's indictment hinges on Ukrainian money will keep hope on the left alive of a tie to Putin & the US election.5) Sober observers, however, can already see that Mueller just doesn’t have the goods.6) Meanwhile, there’s that niggling little story of Hillary/the DNC/Comey/Obama/unmasking and the dossier.7) That story is the real bombshell: how the Obama admin illegally exploited the machinery of gov to frame Trump.8) That frame-up generated the Mueller inquiry, which is therefore based on a lie.9) Over time it will be clear that Mueller does not have the goods, and that other story, the frame-up, will only grow.10) The truth will out. Of that I am sure.
