Here's a suggestion. Don't make everything so partisan. If a guy politician does something ill advised, or just plain wrong, don't feel the need yo defend him just because he represents your party. This is the great trick that has been played on the American people. We should have a inherent distrust of all politicians and should take them to task when necessary. They are civil servants that should be held accountable. What we have now is everyone grouping themselves in one of two fortresses that don't even have window openings to the other side. Very distinct battle lines are drawn and people are willing to call out those on the other side but will mount a defense of, and fight tooth and nail for, the guy on their side. No matter how egregious his/her transgressions. Your immediate response to this thread, "What about Biden? What about Cuomo?" What does any of them have to do with this thread? And what has that slimy snake of a man Ted Cruz done to deserve your defense other than be Republican?"
