Fox News Poll: As July 4th approaches, fewer voters believe US is best place to live

The drop in positive views since 2015 is most pronounced among voters under age 45

The drop is an alarming 14 percentage points from when Obama was still in office in 2015

and a drop of 15 percentage points from the high-water mark in 2011 (also under Obama)

and the drop has nothing to do with president biden as the same surveys shows biden with high approval marks , far higher than rumps negative approval

The drop in positive views since 2015 is most pronounced among voters under age 45 (75 percent said the U.S. was the best in 2015 vs. 54 percent now, for a 21-point drop)

That's what one way plane tickets are for.

In all seriousness, I never made amends for that comment. While I stand by the things I say, the comment lacked context and treated a very serious accusation in a very blazé manner. I've made my opinion of you pretty clear on this website but to someone looking in, without that background, it just becomes a hot take. Increasingly so when looked at through the prism of a person of color making that accusation. And that was not my intention. I'm glad it didn't turn into anything more than it had to be. I credit you for that. For the record, my opinion of you hasn't changed. The country could stand to have a few more like you.

 If people don't like the country, they can leave. If the "voters" don't think the US is a great place to live, why don't they move? People criticize the US all the time and I would imagine most of them have never been out of the country to experience how well they have it here in the US.

ABC news poll shows majority of Americans are optimistic about the future with Biden as president.  First time since 2006 that this level of optimism has been reached.

The poll also shows only 44% of republicans give approval. Which begs the question

Trump just accidentally told the truth about his view on polls

During his speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference in Dallas, Texas, over the weekend, Trump let loose with this line explaining his strategy on polling:

         "If it's bad, I say it's fake. If it's good, I say that's the most accurate poll ever."

Yup. That about captures it!

From his earliest days as a candidate, Trump would cite polls that purported to show good news for him. He would, quite literally, read positive poll numbers out loud at rallies during the 2016 campaign. And any time a new poll came out that he deemed to be good news for him Trump would take to Twitter to tout it.

"Wow, my poll numbers have just been announced and have gone through the roof!" he tweeted in December 2015.
"I love polls," Trump said at a campaign rally in the fall of 2018.

           "Only when they're good. When they're not good, I don't talk about them."

so repos think that last year    during the height of the pandemic   when rump was in charge    the unemployment benefits his admin authorized    amounted to a paid vacation for way too many people ?!
