This is funny coming from the same people that couldnt stop mentioning John Kerry in the military 4 years ago,
sorry but you have the wrong guy. I have always said and will stand by my words, heroes never tell people they are a hero, thats why they are heroes. Going around using your pow staus to advance your political career is very sad and an insult to every other pow that has ever been.

Obama too prissy for POTUS.
McCain= TRUE PATRIOT
McCain posseses rare qualities few Americans dream of having.
Obama: "My fellow Americans..um we have to um...I'M GOING BACK TO MY TRAILOR, I BROKE A NAIL"

since we are on a handicapping site, and must all be familiar with the term "public"...
i often use the game threads on this site to gauge the "public" play...
can anyone, by using this thread solely as the measuring stick, tell who is the "public" play in this election?
always go against the public... the public are sheep... unfortunately, the public outnumbers the non-public about 4 to 1 (or more)... so in an election... the "public" usually wins...
that is why we have had virtually no legitimate Presidents over the past 50 years...
i'm not going to even say who won this debate... anyone who doesn't know is simply brain-washed (or brain dead!)...

somewhat off the subject...

I thought both came over well and there wasn't much to choose between them. It was good to see two people who were obviously informed about foreign policy. Initially Obama had that courtroom lawyer rhetoric which I find jarring and wasn't really saying much but he really got into his stride when talking about Iran and Russia. That is the Obama I want to see, it's better than all the grand speeches which I'm tired of now.
His one big weakness is Iraq, he's less convincing there and McCain won that section. Why he can't just say the surge is working and we'll stay until the job is done, I don't know. Yes we know he was right about the invasion but things have changed now, the war has to be concluded successfully.
McCain needs to stop sneering and gritting his teeth.
Overall I give it to Obama on a split decision.
