Dems and math are like oil and water, they are still trying to wrap their brains around the electoral college vs popular vote. They just dont seem to be able to grasp the concept at all.

The Left continues to be something else. I call Durbin's office this morning regarding his opposition to the Trump tax cuts. I bring up the fact that somebody with a wife and kid making the same amount of money as me will have more take home pay than me. The girl tells me I don't like children. Another Lefty head shaker. It is truly hard to make this stuff up.

Yes. The Dems AND THE REST OF THE CIVILIZED WORLD!!!!!!!!!!
Republican mindset is the main reason the rest of the World laughs at and doesn't respect us. They have to do things differently just for the sake of doing things differently. USA! USA! USA!
Also, Republican math isn't so great either. Their go to economic policy is trickle down economics. Enough said.

Pretty sure the rest of the civilized word understands why electoral college exists. If you didnt have it, california and new york would decide elections and shape policy. The concerns of those from smaller states would never be heard.
Im from canada, even i get it.

If Republicans are so good at math, why are they going to let Donald add to the deficit and increase the debt and likely raise the debt ceiling? You mean you didn't come to that conclusion when voting for someone who's allowing the rich to pay less in taxes for the top tax bracket, which constitutes the biggest portion of federal revenue, while these aholes are cheating on their taxes to begin with in the first place? I know a shortfall is coming because it's impossible to increase spending on the military when you reduce the total revenue for the fiscal year. Sure, they'll make it work in the meantime but it's not a good strategy in the long term and anyone who's dumb enough to believe Trump's rhetoric on GDP increase should stick a screwdriver into his or her head and end it now.

All Mats Järlström (who looks like Al Gores brother) needs to do is tell the Oregon State Board of Examiners for Engineering and Land Surveying,,that he identifies as an engineer...the lefties in Oregon will understand that....

Surely, Trump is counting on new revenue from growth.
Where were your complaints when Obama almost Doubled the debt WHILE letting the military shrivel and decay?

Sicknesscity, since you were happy to take the thread off topic and talk about the GNP ..I ask you ...Did you stick a flathead screwdriver into your head when President Obama was the only president since Herbert Hoover (Great Depression) to not have
guided the US economy to 3% growth in any year he was in office?
Obama the only President in U.S.
history to never have a single year when the economy grew by at least 3%. ...
Were you one of those gullible leftist,, that believed Obama's eloquent hot air on economic growth?
It's truly a miracle, that we are not in a recession.......,,.

Short answer, I don't care. Long answer is I know it's manufactured outrage on your part because if Trump doesn't acheive the goal he stated, you'll pretend like you don't care. In fact, I bet you spent the last 8 years on here making snarky remarks and bemoaning how often Obama golfed and perhaps how much money was being spent to protect him. Now that Trump is going to spend more time golfing and cost taxpayers more money for both after one term compared to Obama after two terms, you've conveniently forgotten that outrage and possibly have even come up with excuses for why it's okay for Trump to do so.
Actually, what bothered me about Obama's administration is that nobody from Wall Street and these large corporations received jail time for various crimes and in addition to that, capitalism wasn't allowed to fail because these entities were so large that the entire economic system would have collapsed if they became insolvent. I already know that Wall Street will crash again in 5, maybe 10, maybe 20 or 30 years but it's cyclical and will certainly happen again because there are systemic issues that still exist. It's exacerbated when deregulation occurs. The problem is that everyone wants to pretend it never happened and that gambling is perfectly safe. Too bad that's not the truth at all.

He must not be able to see anything that QMICH posts.
He has been boxed for this exact crap, the problem is the lot of you guys cry and complain about all the ills and unfairness yet you are not even watching that things are very fair and balanced for the QUANTITY of content in this forum.
Its not even close quantity right vs left and the negativity, bashing and derisive nature towards others...but something tells me you know all this and know quite a bit about the history here...

Politics is by nature a bit of a mosh pit. I'll try to behave and not bash the red states denial that they are actually concerned with they live in. I know it hard to admit but I believe republicans would like to drink clean water breath pure air and not see trash everywhere.
