Just read an article about Trump not wanting to throw out the 1st pitch Sunday in the 5th game of the World Series. I thought he didn't want to get booed off the mound. But.....

Get a load of this...he's concerned about looking heavy.

You're the one that confused, old man. And that's fine. It your thread and your prerogative. And frankly, I never insulted or even disagreed with any of your positions. Nor Circus' positions. I just believe that the way you guys go back and forth, lobbing insults and crafting long-winded posts, is ridiculous. I mean that in the most literal of ways. It incites ridicule.

Look I never came in here until Trump came on the scene & I'll be gone when he is soon. In this forum, people have different beliefs, values etc. Ridicule comes in every forum for various reasons. I start threads (or long ones in this case) because I have a lot to share & I too use humor. You however choose to sit back & snipe. One last point, yes I'm older but let me remind you of something. When you had the Lola Falana avatar, I was the old guy that knew who she was & complemented you on her pic. I'm older than you but not yet dead.

I've never had a Lola Falana, bro. Maybe that was the other black guy who wants to be white to feel better about himselves. (Go figure! Most white guys don't even feel good about themselves. It's the pasty unmelanated skin and tiny dingalings)

Betsy DeVos was held in contempt of court today.

“The exceedingly rare judicial rebuke of a Cabinet secretary came after the Trump administration was forced to admit to the court earlier this year that it erroneously collected on the loans of some 16,000 Corinthian Colleges borrowers despite being ordered to stop doing so,” Politico noted.

The DeVos Family is beloved in Michigan. I came across a bunch of Trumpers in Michigan this summer. My conversations with them didn't last long once I learned they support Trump.

They are hardened Trump supporters & are ready to go down with the ship.

Trump instructed the WH to cancel subscriptions of the Washington Post & the NY Times. He suggested federal agencies do the same.

These newspapers are not his enemy. Truth, details and facts are what should really worry him.

Trump had another meltdown today before getting on his chopper. He said there were no teams; he was the team. That sums up his personality right there.

He campaigned that only he could fix all the problems in our country & people bought his bullshit. SAD.

I have NEVER met a true racist in my life, and neither has anyone in my family, or andy of my friends or colleagues. I challenge ANYONE here on this website to confess the same. Racists are not a thing. We are living in the most non-racist times, and we should be celebrating that. The media has a short supply of racism, so they create a demand with FAKE stories (Smollett, 12 yr old girl who said "white boys cut off her dreadlocks" and any black person killed by a policeman is assumed to be racially motivated....ad nauseum). Politicians make "white supremacy" a thing so theu can be the champions in their districts "fighting against white supremacy" and the media only runs these kinds of stories, looking into the dark crevices of society to bring them out. Celebrate diversity and be done with it. Claiming a platform space and then accusing your opponent of being a "white supremacist because he/she is white is DIMINISHING and a cheap low blow, besides SCARING POC into voting for you. Trump is reaching new levels of support among black voters, and THIS will reduces the effectiveness of racial identity politics, by identifying their tactics and just doing things for blacks (jobs, prison reform, celbrating their achievemnets, etc).

If you've never met a true racist, it means just that. You've never met one. Have you ever met a deep sea diver? A mountain climber? A NFL football player. A trapeze artist. They all exist in life regardless of if they exist in the microcosm that is your personal life. Try spending some time in the Pacific Northwest. It's beautiful and I love it but Oregon, Washington, Idaho... can be like Alabama.

Maria Butina has been deported. Will she be received in Russia as a hero or will she never again see daylight?

MIT graduate Kentucky Rep Thomas Massie had this to say about Butina...

"She served a ridiculously long sentence essentially for not filling the right paperwork. But now she is free. Sadly, she was jailed to satiate the rampant Russophobia in the US these days. We are better than this."

She was convicted for her crimes against our country by our judicial system. WTF?

No one is above the law. Trump administration loses vast majority of lawsuits in government according to Center for public integrity. He often pursues illegal policies and resorts to delay tactics such as unjustified appeals. Unlike past administrations that normally win most of their lawsuits.

Recently, a federal judge validates legality of impeachment inquiry against Trump and orders release of secret evidences in Mueller report. House of representatives need not put a resolution to a vote. US constitution gives the house wide latitude in handling impeachment.

White house and justice department have been illegally stonewalling the house's legitimate right to obtain information. Blocking access to relevant evidences undermines house's ability to carry out its constitutonal responsibility with due diligence.

It's difficult to be shocked by Trump's actions any more. However, I think we may learn of things he did, things he said & people that were/are complicit. Very few have left his administration with their dignity & pride intact.

I,ll see your Grand Mufti and raise you two Grand Ayatollah's..he was dumped in the Sea,because by Muslim tradition bodies must be buried within 24 hours..and Bin Laden's native Saudi Arabia had refused to accept bin Laden's body. Therefore, since his death was under extraordinary circumstances ..he was given an extraordinary burial keeping with Muslim values.......So, now he sleeps with the fishes.
