USDA is now acknowledging that it might be VERY hard for China to purchase anywhere near the $40 billion in farm products that Trump promised last month.

Stone commited crimes to cover up for Trump.  His sentence is justified.  For Trump to pardon Stone would be an act of corruption.  Although presidents don't face full consequences until after they leave office, their associates aren't so lucky.  2000+ former justice department officials signed a letter demanding resignation of attorney general Barr.  Watchdog Citizens for ethics in Washington calls for criminal probe into Giuliani's Ukraine role.  Manipulation of congress funds (military aid) for illegal gain violates US laws.

In a separate legal matter, another judge has sided with immigrants over inhuman and unsanitary conditions of detention facilities at southern border.  When executive branch breaks laws, the judicial branch has the right to intervene against illegal policies.

Misleading the public is the most common way of rigging elections.  In addition to Russia interference, Trump is the most dishonest politician by making thousands of lies according to Washingtonpost tracker.  US intelligence is warning that Russia is interfering in 2020 election to help Trump.  This raises questions about Trump's campaign and whether steps are taken to combat interference.  Despite strong evidences, Trump insists Russian interference is a hoax and neglects national security.  No solid proof that US intelligence is a deep state sabotaging his re-election.  Actually, US intelligence is just doing its traditional duty of providing government with nonpartisan accurate information.

3rdperson.   Obama was President during the 2016 election. Why do you always give O a free pass? It is like Barack did not exist in Novembervof 2016.

President O has stated he didn't want to look like he was putting his finger on the scale during the election & in retrospect that turned out to be a horrible decision.

There is no doubt in the intelligence community that Russia did mettle in 2016 & there is evidence of them doing it again in 2020. All Americans should take this as an attack on our democracy.

Last night on AF1, Trump said he was considering Rep Doug Collins from Georgia as the new Director of the NSA. Maybe someone should have checked with Collins first about the position before mentioning his name.

On Fox News this morning, Collins blew off the idea when appearing with the former Money Honey, Maria Bartiromo saying he has no interest in the position. He would rather get in the ugly Senate seat fight in Georgia instead.

Trump's impulsiveness further exposes him for the fool that he truly is.

Weird how the farmers didn't need additional aid until the president terminated long-standing trade agreements that drove our largest trade partners to seek imports from other countries. These markets were established over years and years & may never comeback. Small farmers are going out of business & looking to sell their farms, equipment etc while rich corporate farms get more help than they need.

So the American public pays for his stupidity twice. Once in higher prices for products and again to subsidize farmers.
