I'm 100% in for medicare for all. But going for an expanding Affordable Care Act (ACA) which is proposed by Joe Biden's campaign will beat Trump and GOP's ACA repeal by day and night. 

Unfortunately, when people lose their jobs and health insurances under this coronavirus crisis, ACA is here to help. On the other hand, what Trump's Administration does is it  wants to take the help away from people.

Today we continued our discussion from last week re: the Coronavirus and Trump’s anemic and failed response to it. We listened to sound clips from both experts in the field who know what they were talking about – and then from Donald Trump, who always shows he has no clue what he’s talking about. We also looked at some of the lies Trump’s state run propaganda media are telling to defend Trump’s complete incompetence and unfitness.

For months, Trump falsely claims that everything is under control and that his team is doing a great job despite contradictions by public health officials.  Actually, he made matters worse by misleading the nation in critical early stage.  He claims China travel ban saved thousands of lives.  However no evidence of any life saved or any reduction in sick cases according to John Hopkins center for health security.  By downplaying the risk of coronavirus, many Americans are discouraged from taking steps to contain the spread of infection.  Months are wasted by not preparing for a nationwide shortage of test kits, ventilators, medical supplies and hospital beds.  In January and February, consensus among public health officials is that US early response has been inadequate.  According to Washington post, Trump repeatedly ignores US intelligence warnings and delays actions to slow spread of infection.  He refuses to take responsibility for one of the worst responses to a pandemic by a rich nation in modern history according to Union of concerned scientists. 

According to Harvard health institute, US response is a stunning fiasco that is much worse than almost any other country.   According to Time, even white house officials admit actions are weak and late.  Institute for infectious diseases call the testing system a failure as US lags behind every developed nation.  Testing is a key measure of a country's ability to deal with outbreaks.  You cannot fight what you cannot see.  Without testing, some people won't be treated and continue to spread infection.  Insufficient testing makes the number of sick cases artificially low.  Improvements in testing reveal US actually has among the highest growth in coronavirus cases in the world.  Experts say the US is 2 weeks behind Italy in trajectory of sick cases.  A house oversight committee is investigating Trump administration response to coronavirus after Propublica reports testing problems hamper US ability to contain spread of disease.  According to the Atlantic, the deaths and economic damage sweeping the US could have been less if massive testing started sooner.

This was our first time doing the show from home today. We tried to catch up on all Trump’s Coronavirus lies from this week, including his claims that a) the stores are open 24/7 – when we know that some are closed and some have changed their hours; and b) that the shelves are stocked and there are no shortages – when anyone who’s been to a store knows he’s lying. We also made the case that Trump has put American lives in danger with his lies and nonchalant approach to this crisis. And yet? His brain dead base still doesn’t care. We also debunked some of the lies and false equivalences Trump’s state run propaganda media are using to try and make Trump not look like the failure he is.

They are volunteers & I say fired because they lost their health care & you assume they have a "home or a place" to park their asses. They have been out of the country & don't have a place & chances of others allowing them into their homes I would think are slim.

I despise those who continue to say Trump is doing a good job even during this crisis. My silence would send the wrong message that I agree with them. So I'll continue to speak my mind. People accused me of not willing to debate topics, so I said here I am, let's do it. 

I regularly do bowls of my ganja, sit by the pool, watch planes come over the ocean, listen to music while reading books. I may sound like I'm on the edge sometimes but I assure you that I'm not. I'll let your personal attach slide because like I said before, I'm trying not to lash out when people insult me during Lent.

And you're right,. A bunch of green peace workers or whoever they are don't deserve to have the proverbial rug pulled right from under them but i'm for doing away with all of those programs. If you buy a girl lunch every day and after years of it she still hates your guts, eventually you're gonna be like, "F*ck this broad!" and stop. I'd been away from the forums and you come back to hear people's input from what's going on, maybe have a brief escape, but it's the same shit. How does it not get old? It's clear none of you is changing each other's minds which in essence makes this entire forum literal insanity.
