Don't be so naive. You know it happens and so do I .
Just go back to 2016 when Ted Cruz partnered with Politico to get ad money spent in Iowa and New Hampshire. Jeb Bush pulled the same stunt with super PAC Right to Rise. Hillary did it with super PAC Correct the Record. Carly Fiorina did it with super PAC Conservative, Authentic Responsive Leadership For You and America.
Candidates regularly skirt these laws and you don't believe that Trump did it as well?

More than 40,000 National Guard members currently helping states test residents for the coronavirus and trace the spread of infections will face a “hard stop” on their deployments on June 24 — just one day shy of many members becoming eligible for key federal benefits, according to a senior FEMA official.
The official outlined the Trump administration’s plans on an inter-agency call on May 12, an audio version of which was obtained by POLITICO. The official also acknowledged during the call that the June 24 deadline means that thousands of members who first deployed in late March will find themselves with only 89 days of duty credit, one short of the 90-day threshold for qualifying for early retirement and education benefits under the Post-9/11 GI bill.
Trump claims he loves our military. Stop listening to what he says and open your eyes to see what he does!
Trumpettes..tell me again how much Trump supports our troops.
He's a phony flag hugging POS!

If when I was still working my boss asked if "I ever sent a member of my team to pick up the Daily Racing Form" for me and I had not, I would say so. So why can't Pompeo do the same about his laundry and walking of his dog? It's wrong if we both did it & it's not a real BIG deal. Leaving doubt in the minds of others, IS a BIG deal! BTW...I always picked up the DRF myself during lunch on Fridays before it was available online for free.
The DRF isn't available on line for free, is it?

It is free on TwinSpires as long as you make 1 wager & it's Brisnet data.
DRF has a similar package for members.
There's also a sneaky way of getting free pp's. Go on to Brisnet and search for a trainer like Chad Brown or Todd Pletcher. They will give you a list of all horses entered by either trainer at every track for the week. You can go in, select a race & print the pp's. You can do that for a few trainers & many times you can get the whole racing card for free.
It's a little time consuming, like a half hour, but it allows you to select the races you want to bet all over the country.

There's a good chance the Inspector General for the Department of Defense will be the next one whacked by Trump.
“A North Dakota construction company involved in an ongoing Defense Department Inspector General investigation and favored by President Donald Trump was awarded a $1.3 billion contract to build a segment of border wall earlier this month,” per Forbes.

Crazy. I'll probably never go back to being an every day player so when I play, I just bite the bullet and buy the paper form. It's gone up so much in my lifetime so I can only imagine how much it was when you first bought one. During the start of this madness, when I went to buy one for the first time in a few years, I had to call my mom as soon as I came out of the store. "Mom, can you believe the form is 14 bucks now!?!"

Stu, speaking of horse racing ..The New York Racing Association, today announced the 152nd renewal of the Grade 1, $1-million Belmont Stakes, to be contested at nine furlongs, will take place on Saturday, June 20 at Belmont Park as the opening leg of the Triple Crown for the first time in history....and there will be no spectators in attendance.
If it ain't a 1/12 mile its sacrilege. Might as well go full Corona and require horses to wear mask and social distance down the stretch....

Stop the inquisition already....read what I said....If when I was still working my boss asked if "I ever sent a member of my team to pick up the Daily Racing Form" for me and I had not, I would say so.
If IF IF...I didn't say it happened. I said IF MY BOSS ASKED....
And yes I print them using my own company's paper/printer.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

In a grand show of sportsmanship Donald Trump will be riding one of them. They don't want the poor beast to die of a heart attack.

Stu, they are saying the shorter distance of 1 1/8-miles will be used to properly account for the schedule adjustments to the Triple Crown series and overall calendar for 3-year-olds in training......

More than 40,000 National Guard members currently helping states test residents for the coronavirus and trace the spread of infections will face a “hard stop” on their deployments on June 24 — just one day shy of many members becoming eligible for key federal benefits, according to a senior FEMA official.
Trump has a long history of cheating employees and defrauding contractors. According to Washington post, Trump opposes helping jobless Americanss by extending unemployment benefits. But in this election year, unemployment rate is at an 80 years high. Trump wants to force employees to return to work despite health concerns. For example, meat packing plants. Furthermore, he wants to absolve employers of responsibility for worker safety through liability shield. In this environment, people have little confidence in states reopening.

Two FORD plants, one in Illinois & one in Michigan, closed one day after reopening because of positive covid results of employees. Forcing employees to return to work in these environments is criminal IMO.
Failure to show up for work in these conditions will result in a loss of unemployment and associated healthcare.
Bravo to the management of these two plants for protecting their workers.

The Florida Keys have been closed to all except those who live there. If you've never been there, the Keys consist of small motels, gift shops, bars and charter fishing boats as well as a great place where almost anything goes.
The Keys will reopen June 1st. Most Floridians won't be going there because we've already been there several times. Planes full of tourists are not flying along our coast, so they won't be coming there either.
The Keys have survived many many natural disasters. The one we have now is financially destructive and may be the last blow for many small businesses.
Unfortunate this will not be an uncommon scene across the country.
