I alwaya likened it to the Bays version of Brooklyn because the cost of living in SF contributed to said gentrification much like the cost of living in Manhattan contributed in Brooklyn. And it was a very organic thing, much like Brooklyn. It starts with fringe, artsy types. The types that don't mind living in a shared house or converted warehouses. Then come the hipsters. Then the techsters and young professionals because, you know, they're cool too. Then the techsters and young professionals who just want an affordable place to raise a family.

Hours before Oklahoma pastor David Charles Evans was fatally shot in his bed on Monday morning, the 50-year-old warned his parishioners that the devil would seek to “destroy and kill them” for witnessing God’s power.
But police say something sinister was closer to home for Evans. The following day, his wife had her lover shoot Evans in the head, even after an affair that, at one point, involved the pastor, police allege.
