Because to fight the inflation caused by the pandemic recovery, the pandemic created supply chain issues, and the war Putin started, which our citizens and especially Republicans are shouting for, the Fed will raise interest rates more, and that will likely cause a mild recession and increased unemployment in 2023, although levels still well below the historical national mean average.

I concur. A new alltime record set under Biden administration for low unemployment figures. It's unsustainable over the longterm of course, but keeping it at or under 4.9% is a win. Obama handed the ball to trump with an economy doing well and just 4.7% unemployment.

Foops..... could we please get it on record how "low unemployment" helps the current inflationary environment we currently live in?? Have you heard of this little entity called the Federal Reserve?? You might want to consult them on current FED policy before you go spouting off about how great low unemployment is in this market.

Treasury department estimates big reduction in federal deficits in 2022 as tax revenue surges and spending declines. In contrast, federal deficits increased every year under Trump administration.

Covers is based in Canada, have you seen much free speech up there? As long as it spreads the disinformation, discord and divisiveness they like, Covers will allow this.
