The Obama campaign better be prepared for another Mccain desperado gambit.
Here is the scenario i foresee. A day before the VP debate,(or even early the day of) the Mccain campaign will pull the ole switcheroo.
Palin will come out and give some stupid excuse (family affairs or something) and cry and moan about sexism and bla bla bla.
She will then say she has quit as mccains running mate.
She could also possibly do this on the very day of the scheduled debate.
3 hours after that bomb shell, Mccain will come out to announce his new running mate..Probably Rudy Guiliani (forget liberman, he completely lacks the fire brand that Mccain would need to pull this gambit off.)
He needs a dyed in the wool cold blooded mercenary. To be announced as close as possible to the debate hour and catch the Obama campaign .
The reason Libermann cant be the guy is that he is too mellow and despite being a back stabbing sob, he lacks the personal character of a sleek politician like Guliani is. He has this slow drawl about him that makes you wanna go to sleep even though the guy is in the middle of what should otherwise be a ruthless attack on some one else. A person with a whinny nasal tone simply cant pull off this gambit
Therefore it will be giuliani. If announced late enough the Obama campaign will be forced into a corner. Either decline to show up and look weak or show up unprepared without any notes or facts on the guiliani record and he will kick your butt.
